Please drive the extra few miles to go to the McDonalds on HWY 52. I know I will every time in the future! I ordered my wife an iced Carmel latte, and got a cup of iced Carmel milk… No coffee whatsoever. I also ordered a sausage McMuffin without the muffin and was given just the English muffin. No sausage egg and cheese anywhere. All of this still would be somewhat forgivable if I did not have to spend 25 min in the drive thru for whatever reason that may be for the 5 cars that were in front of me.

Got in drive thru at 10:15 Placed order on mobile app at 10:18 for a steak biscuit with cheese hash brown and small coke. Continued waiting in drive thru. Got to speaker to be told breakfast is over but they maybe can make it. Get to pay window. Get handed receipt for entire meal paid for in app. Get to food window to be told we don’t have any hash browns would you like fries. I said I’d like my order she says all we have you for is a hash brown. I show my recipe and get told to cancel in app. App won’t let me cancel because restaurant has started order. My order was 8.11 and I got handed I dollars and the window closed in my face. So not only did I not get my order but I didn’t get a full refund either. Chik fil a breakfast for the win. And from now on.

Today is December 11th 2025. I placed a mobile order for a quarter pounder with cheese meal and use my points for free filet of fish sandwich. When I went through the drive-thru I was informed that they didn’t have any chocolate shake that it could be substituted for a frappe. So I was fine with that, when I went to the pickup window the employee handed me a small mocha frappe. I’ve been immediately told him that it should have been a large since a large milkshake was being substituted and the milkshake cost more than the frappe . He appear frustrated which I can understand, I wasn’t trying to be difficult but I’m going to get what I paid for . So I get home and take the food out the bag, an OMG. All the food was cold, the fish fillet sandwich look like it was microwaved, it was a dark brown color in soggy as hell, the quarter pounder with cheese look like it was made hours ago was cold and just poorly made. Who I haven’t been to this McDonald’s in a while and I assure you I won’t be going back

Stopped while passing thru Albemarle for a snack, when to the restroom first and that is all it took to turn my stomach upside down. The restroom was just nasty, trash everywhere, floor soaked in grease, in total disrepair. If the restroom is in this condition, I can only imagine what the kitchen area looks like. See the pictures attached. I left without that snack.

Do not order McDelivery from this awful location. Half your order will be both incorrect and missing. And since it’s a “McDelivery” order, you will NOT be able to get help with your order in any way. There is no help on the McDonald’s app for McDelivery. Steer clear of this place. They sent us nuggets that looked and tasted spongey inside and not chicken-like. The sundae ice cream was also off texture and tasted bad. Didn’t look safe to eat. Yes, it’s obviously just a McDonald’s. But not as horrific as this one though.
Update: owners only response was to suggest the website for further review input. It’s now obvious where the issues are.
This is now the second time this place has epicly failed. Wife ordered on app, drove to the McDonald’s to pick up only to fund out they decided not to serve breakfast and not open till 11am!! They didn’t even bother TURNING OFF THE APP for ordering. Now we have no food and money was charged. They need to close this store, fire everyone and start from the ground up again. This place is an utter joke.

Horrible, mobile order to be brought curbside, waited 15 minutes, then went inside, young lady was running around and I got her attention, told her I was looking for my order and she looked and said she didn’t see it, she asked the cooks and they didn’t produce my order right away, (2) sausage egg & cheese biscuits that was it. Other people had placed orders on the kiosks and were waiting with no help as well, they were working hard in drive thru but that was it. Finally saw a manager and asked her could I get my breakfast please, she rolled her eyes made a gesture and asked the girl that was trying to help me what my order was, finally she gets my order and pitches it to the counter, both biscuits were hard and dry,

The staff at this branch in Albemarle on 24/27 have always been pleasant, talkative and showed concern that my order was right.

They screwed up my breakfast order twice, and after admitting they still had bagels available, would refuse to remake my sandwich correctly because they had switched over to lunch menu. Bathroom floors were sticky and one of the stalls smelled strongly of urine. Will not be returning

We were missing half the food had to wait 5 minutes for the woman to get the wrong sized tea, waited another 2 for the right size but hey we got a free 20 piece nugget because they dont apparently know how to read here.
