Stopped in a little after noon. The place was busy. We were told to sit anywhere. We weren’t in a rush but did notice there hadn’t been anyone by to check on us. We were finally given a menu and asked about drinks. When all was said and done, we left after sharing a plate satisfied and no longer hungry. They have to work on the attention and speed, they food is good but won’t ever make up for what is lacking in efficiency and neglect. I’ll try again but only before or after the lunch rush.

The queso fundido was gooey, cheesy heaven, and the grilled jalapeños and onions ️ added the perfect smoky kick. The avocado slices and lime wedges were the ultimate fresh touch, and the authentic charro beans were rich, savory, and tasted like true homemade comfort.
Every bite had me smiling , and you can taste the love in every dish . Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Irma’s is a must-visit for real flavor, amazing portions, and warm hospitality ️ .

Ordered takeout, came very quick. The food was a bit disappointing though. Chicken in my enchilada was just not seasoned at all and tasted like old chicken. The sauce didn’t make up for the lack of taste either. Taquitos were nice and crispy but the beef was very dry and there was not alot in there. Overall wouldn’t recommend.

I ate at Irma’s this evening. The service was great and the food was excellent. I’m originally from Deming and periodically visit. I have seen Irma’s but I never stopped. I was pleasantly surprised and will definitely eat there next time I’m in town. I went to school with Irma but I never knew she could cook like that. Keep it up!

First time here, it’s a great Mexican restaurant. The best shrimp cocktail I have had in a long time. It’s very authentic it’s delicious. The menudo, the chiles replenish were so authentic Mexican flavor it was delicious. The green chili sauce they used on the enchiladas it’s so good, the best!!

I ate the burrito plate but I needed to add an egg on top. Great authentic New Mexican food. I live in Albuquerque so I’m no stranger when it comes to Chile real Chile! The flavor just was something else! Words cannot describe! I just felt like I was at home. Great lil restaurant, bring your family or have a date night. If you’re in Deming go to Irma’s. You will not regret it.

We stopped there coming back home from Phoenix. The food was delicious! On the burritos, they offered the option to be smothered with salsa (red or green), which was something new for us. We choose the green one and we loved it, even that it was kind of hot! Thanks Irma’s restaurant for our breakfast on our long trip!
