I’d come back from happy hour again, next time I visit the area.

After my fajitas came, my husband had to wait 10 minutes for his fish tacos which was odd. But they were hot and fresh when they arrived.
I had the Riviera Maya MaracuyaRita for $14. It was fruity and delicious but there was a lot of ice so not much cocktail to drink. We normally come during Happy Hour when margaritas are under $6.
We also went to Casa Blanca a few days ago for lunch. There was a display board outside the restaurant listing 10 lunch specials, including a tostada and a different special of two soft tacos with your choice of meat. My husband asked our waitress if he could have fish with the soft taco lunch special. The waitress said no. So I ordered the lunch special tostada with shredded beef. My husband ordered the lunch special soft tacos with carnitas.
My tostada was excellent, but my husband was mystified by his soft tacos. It appeared he was given a tostada. So he brought his plate to the bar and asked our waitress if his plate was indeed soft tacos with carnitas. She said ‘no’. He said he ordered soft tacos but she wouldn’t help in any way. She didn’t come back to our table until we flagged someone down so we could pay. We asked her what his order was, and she didn’t know, but looking at the bill, she said he had Tostada plate with Carne Asada. How she could mistake “soft tacos with carnitas” with “tostada with carne asada”, I do not know. The Carne Asada was hard and chewy… barely edible.
We will go back, but not for a lunch special! And maybe we will ask the server to repeat our orders back to us!
P.s. Chili Verde plate is another favorite here.
To kick off our dining experience, we decided to indulge in their sampler appetizer, and boy, were we blown away! The platter was a work of art, featuring an exquisite assortment of mouthwatering delights. We were treated to crispy taquitos filled with tender shredded beef, flavorful mini quesadillas bursting with gooey cheese, and a heavenly guacamole that was the epitome of freshness. Each bite was a flavor explosion that left us craving for more.
For our main course, we couldn’t resist ordering the al pastor plate, and we were not disappointed. The marinated pork was perfectly cooked and infused with authentic Mexican spices. The meat was succulent and tender, with a delightful char that added a smoky touch. Accompanied by warm tortillas, fresh cilantro, diced onions, and a side of tangy salsa, every bite was an absolute delight
