One of the best family-owned restaurants that have been in business for a long time. The food is always good it’s always hot and the atmosphere and service is always warm and inviting. I will always have fond memories of eating here when I was a kid and they haven’t changed as an adult. The place is a piece of my childhood. And it’s phenomenal see it’s still there, and still going strong. The people there are phenomenal and wonderful. The food and the prices are exactly what you want. So stop in and enjoy some home-cooked meals made with love.

Came here because I am stuck in the area working….. I can not believe how good this food was!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I guess I’m a chicago food snob. But if I ever came to Pennsylvania again, I’d drive here just to eat breakfast.

Server was very attentive. Food hit the spot and was reasonably priced. If you are here for your birthday you are offered a slice of pie. Biscuit was light and fluffy, not a hockey Puck or briquettes like some places.

First time ever eating here. What a gem! My dad got bills crazy eye and I got the morning sunshine. The food, portions and price were excellent. It was busy but we got in with no wait time and had an amazing waitress. This reminds me of a gem that shut down called kountry kitchen in zelienople which had very similar and home type of vibe feel. I will be absolutely coming back.

We went on a sunday mid morning. The place was completely packed but we still got sat in under 5 minutes (there were 6 of us). The service was great, food portions were big and prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend this place!!!

One of the best places to possibly eat in the Ellwood city area and has been since I was a kid and long before. Always love eating here.

Good not great . I used to love them, but the food was average at best, the bacon was waaay too dark and rock hard, the biscuits and gravy wasn’t great, and we never got a single refill . Plus the parking spots are placed oddly, I’m not sure how to describe it , but I didn’t like them either. It wasn’t, BAD… per day ..just, meh…

Not gonna lie, this is one of the best local diners I have visited in years. The place feels a bit like a time capsule when you walk in. But that’s to be expected considering the “diner experience” is not as popular as it was 20-30 years ago. I loved walking in to see counter seating. The place was very well staffed when I went which resulted in a service experience I have not had since the early 2000s.
My mother and I visited for brunch while we were in town to pick up an RV nearby. She got breakfast and I ordered a Reuben. We had our food within maybe 5 minutes and it was hotter than the bowels of hell. It was not the best Reuben I have ever had, but it was very good and the price was unbeatable.
I don’t find myself in Ellwood often, but I will absolutely be stopping here EVERYTIME! To the operator and staff: thank you for staying true to the diner concept and delivering an excellent experience.

Revisited a diner from my childhood and was happy to see it still running and the quality still good! Nostalgic, lots of old favorites like liver and onions and homemade meringue pies. First woman we met was cranky, but our waitress was kind and food was delivered quickly.
