Great food at a reasonable price. The meats are prepared on a “trompo” giving you each bite a great crunch texture and char flavor. Although the tacos were great, I knocked off a star because the rice was not fully cooked and crunchy in the middle. The agua de limon was great as well. Definitely a great place to grab a bite for lunch.

Delicious food! Had the Trompo Pastor Burrito today and it was 10/10. The salsa was really good too. Highly recommend checking them out

Stopped for a bite to eat in Downtown Dallas, it’s such a nice, open and cozy atmosphere to walk into! The service was fast and friendly and best of all, the steak burrito and comfort fries were delicious! A nice way to end our walking around here before we head back to the suburbs. We’ll be back!

Chicken burrito was flavorless. It’s a nice portion and prepared well. It didn’t taste like anything though. I had to add a lot of sauce to it. Service was good!

First time here. The tacos came recommended by a friend so I had to give it a try. Place looks cool and the full bar is a great touch when your having tacos. We tried both tacos and a burrito. Tacos were Al Pastor and the burrito was chicken. Both were well served with meat. I would go back and try the other meats Barbacoa and Beef steak was left. The green side of salsa was delicious and slightly spicy. The pork “Al Pastor” was missing a little more pineapple. This is the reason for my 3 star rating on the food but flavor overall both meats were good. When in downtown…. come around!! They have a light beer selection. For me Amber’s are better but you can’t go wrong with a Corona (which they have)!!!

Twisted Trompo was an absolutely great spot! I stumbled across this vibrant restaurant in Downtown Dallas, and I’m so glad we did. The food was incredibly flavorful, fresh, and definitely hit the spot. I tried the carne asada burrito, which was generously stuffed with tender, juicy meat and flavorful spices, and the El Pastor street tacos, which featured succulent, marinated pork topped with fresh cilantro and onions. If I had to describe it, I’d say it’s a solid Mexican restaurant with a creative twist, offering authentic flavors with a modern touch.

We went around midnight on a Saturday and this was one of the highlights! Ordered the taco plate, elote and a horchata. The tacos were excellent- we had steak and chicken. The meat was seasoned perfectly and tender! The elote was excellent. The horchata was fresh and perfectly made. My husband and I shared a 5 taco plate and it was the perfect size to split! The atmosphere was vibrant and the dj was a fun twist. Service was quick and friendly. The dining area was clean woth plenty of seating/tables to choose from. This place was incredible! We need one in Oklahoma!

I will definitely come again! The quesabirria was freakin’ delicious and the Mexican Candy drink was also amazing. The bartenders, Sonia & Javier were very nice and attentive. The kitchen cook, Cecil, did an excellent job making this scrumptious food! I enjoyed that the quesabirria was perfectly fried with a light crispy crunch. The boxing fight was playing on the tv at the bar and they also had a DJ who played a great variety of music!

My teenage daughters and I walked here from our hotel a few blocks away. We don’t eat meat but we were able to find some very good stuff on the menu. Portion size, food taste, atmosphere, and service were all great.
