I was craving Hamburgão the other night and planned to order through Uber Eats, but after seeing all the extra fees I decided to drive to the restaurant instead. That’s when I realized they also upcharge their prices on Uber Eats on top of the delivery fees.
We ordered 2 Hamburgão Picanha sandwiches and 2 sodas. They never asked if we wanted to add a tip, yet somehow added a $4.62 tip on their own. Makes you wonder how often this happens without customers noticing.
This place used to be good, but you can really tell the quality has dropped. I couldn’t even finish my sandwich. There are much better options out there now.

Giving it 2 stars because the food was good, but I won’t be returning to this location. I ordered 2 cheese tudos and 2 chicken balls and only got 2 sauces. When I asked for more, I was charged $3.90 for extra pink sauce and received just 5 tiny containers. The food is already overpriced, and it’s not worth the extra charge — especially considering that if you dine in, you get unlimited sauce, even though they automatically add gratuity to your bill. The staff also weren’t very friendly, which made the experience disappointing overall.

While waiting I thought about making a review because I love writing, anyways, as I ordered my food the waitress was very nice complementing my baby sister. I ordered a Dr Pepper which is the BEST. And watching them make a burger on the menu was making me think it would take forever which…it kinda did. The Dr. Pepper had a very Awesome design. But here came a problem…. They didn’t accept credit cards, but then we got scared but the very nice lady told us about the website which we could pay in. So we were saved! My hamburger looks too delicious to touch. But I was able to finish it. 5 stars!

NEVER AGAIN!!!! I’ve been to the one in Newark countless times and no matter how busy they get, I ALWAYS receive better food and service than I did at this location! Got there and walked up to the counter expecting to order my food and then have a seat since they looked busy, but was told to have a seat and wait for someone to come to the table. 20 minutes went by and no one came to the table. Went back up to the counter and told her we’ve been waiting 20 minutes and no one has come to even take a drink order. Was told “sorry we’re busy” mind you, like 15 people walked in, ordered food, and left within minutes. Clearly, the patrons sitting at the tables is NOT any type of priority. The same happened to the table next to us and all other tables looked as though they weren’t being helped either. After placing the order at the register, it came out cold like it was taken straight out of the refrigerator (2 coxinha com catupiry)!!!! The pastel de queijo was beyond greasy especially for being room temperature. Not to mention I had to go back to the counter a third time because they forgot to give us our drinks. Not sure if it’s a matter of being understaffed or a lack of care to attention, but this was my first and last time ever frequenting this location. Ps. The tip is automatically included in the bill.

We visited this place during our trip from Toronto and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. I found a hair in my fries, which was very off-putting. It really took away from the overall meal and experience. Cleanliness and food safety should be a top priority, and this situation left us quite dissatisfied.
