I just wanted to personally thank the manager on duty again tonight. (Thursday 1/22/26 around 7 pm) for being so kind to me and taking care of your DoorDash drivers. Horrible service had to go back up and ask for everything ,hard old pancakes and attitude was as if I’m bothering them asking questions about the over priced food and drinks and condiments and most disgusting bathroom I’ve ever been in the entrance door and the tables equally disgusting the McFlurry they make has cookie crumbs on top and rest vanilla ice cream the laziest McDonalds workers I’ve ever seen

I’m leaving this review because what happened at this McDonald’s in Rochester on Wakefield st. on Dec 17,2025 around 6pm during the evening shift was honestly one of the most upsetting fast-food experiences I’ve ever had.

I placed my order through the McDonald’s app, paid ahead of time, and selected drive-thru pickup. My order total was over $30, I pulled into the drive-thru, gave my order number and proceeded to the first window, got my receipt and was told to go ahead to window number 2. I was then directed forward again and told to pull up to the third pickup window because my order “wasn’t ready.”

I waited in my car for over 10 minutes with no update. No one came to the window, no one communicated what was going on, and I was just sitting there watching time go by with a prepaid order that should have been straightforward. After waiting that long with zero communication, I finally went inside to ask about my order. A heavyset male employee was rude and dismissive. He basically brushed me off and told me it wasn’t ready, with no explanation and no estimate of how much longer it would be.

I went back out to my car and continued waiting. During that time, I watched multiple cars go through and get served while I continued waiting on a prepaid app order that I had already paid for. At that point, my husband needed to leave for work, and we still hadn’t received anything. Once the drive-thru line cleared, I backed up to the second window to politely ask how much longer it would be because we had already been waiting a long time and had no information.

That’s when things went from frustrating to completely unacceptable. A female employee, who I believe may have been the manager, immediately became hostile. She raised her voice and started yelling at me. I wasn’t yelling, I wasn’t being disrespectful—I was asking about my order and the long delay. She used profanity, including the F-word, while speaking to me. And in front of young high school employees. Terrible example for young people. I was shocked. No customer should ever be spoken to like that, especially over something as simple as asking what’s happening with a paid order. I think now thinking back, that my order was never started, and rather than explaining that to me, she went crazy.

Then she told me I was not getting my food at all. So after all that waiting, I was being refused the order I had already paid for. To make matters worse, the refund handling was a mess. Instead of properly processing the full refund for the app/card payment, I was only given $11 back on the spot, even though my total was over $30. I then had to go back inside and deal with the same heavyset male employee who was still rude, again to get the rest of my money back. Eventually I did receive the full refund, but I never received any of the food.

So to recap: a prepaid app order was never fulfilled, there was no communication while I waited, staff were rude and dismissive when I asked about it, I was yelled at and sworn at by someone who appeared to be in charge, and the refund was initially done incorrectly which forced me to go back inside and push for the remainder. I left in tears, and I will not be returning to this location.

This store seriously needs management oversight and retraining, especially on basic customer service, app order fulfillment, and correct refund procedures. I truly hope this location investigates that shift, including any available camera footage, because no one should be treated this way over a simple drive-thru pickup.

So they have a deal right now for 8$ 2 snack wrap meal. And I tried ordering it at the drive threw for 2 orders of it and it came to 25$ told them they were incorrect you have it all over your franchise and screens for 8$ per meal and they told me they couldnt fix it. So I left. If you cant get the prices right dont run a business. Never going back.

App said my food was ready but when I got there it was completely backed up. My food was not ready and I waited 15 minutes until it was. Fries were a half full container and sandwiches were cold.

I went on Tuesday the 23rd at around 2:25 and when I get there and pull up to the microphone lady that was working says what can I get you and I say can I have a moment please? She says nothing and just stay quiet and I said all right I have my code and I said the code I didn’t get no answer and I’m like hello. You hear me they’re like yeah OK, I’ll just do the cheeseburger and some chicken nuggets and no answer. I’m like hello yeah So I asked, did you get my order and they’re like yeah in a very rude manner the whole time and I just go away for window get the window taking a sweet time I gave her my card I pull up to the Next window and get my food yet again they were kind of rude and I get my food like whatever and I start driving and I look at my burger and it was just made very badly with no care put into it. There’s onions all over the top of the burger. It was just not a good experience Very unhappy whoever was working that day. A lot of them were very rude and they shouldn’t be working that job If they really hated that much

Got here at 230 pm from plowing and salting the roads all night. Fries were not filled or fresh. Mcdouble was burnt and hard.,chicken wraps were cold and not enough ranch. Mcchicken sandcold and hard.Very disappointed. I may as well pack my lunchbox than waste the money.

Wouldn’t let me give half a star:/they Always have me waiting average of 20+ minutes even if I’m the only customer inside the store. Manager tiff talked to her friends and immediately walked away ignoring me. Bathrooms are unbelievably disgusting too. Most of the time you’ll wait 15 before you’re even acknowledged. After my 20 unwanted minutes of being there I get told “it’ll be out in a couple minutes”

Waited 30 mins in the 3rd window only to get brought out the wrong order. Finally got our order which was missing 2 hash browns then had to walk in to get those. For a decent sized breakfast to feed 2 people with a few extras costing $40 which would be cheaper to eat at a real diner. For the cost of McDonald’s nowadays, the quality and portions went downhill. Who ever manages this one should be ASHAMED! There’s a few pleasant workers but also some rude snobby ones who tend to ignore troubled customers with the wrong orders etc. I will definitely try not to go here anymore.
