We stumbled upon this little cafe a couple years ago. Driving back through today & we decided to stop. Best Breakfast I’ve had in a long time, pancake was awesome, egg cooked to perfection and ham steak was tender and delicious.

Absolutely loved this place. We went here two days in a row, the food is AMAZING!!! Best breakfast of the trip!! First day a coach liner showed up, everyone was seated quickly, and level of service did not drop!

Stopped by Corner Booth and decided to go classic with their Reuben—and I’m glad I did. The sandwich came out hot and stacked with tender corned beef, perfectly melted Swiss, tangy sauerkraut, and just the right amount of Thousand Island dressing, all grilled between slices of rye that had a satisfying crunch. It was hearty without being overwhelming, and every bite had that perfect balance of savory and tangy.

Overall good food at great prices. I personally did not care for was what I feel as southern staples was NOT homemade (Grits or Gravy). Other than those minor things this is a wonderful place to eat and listen to locals meet and chat like a town hall gathering. Decor is fun and relaxing.

The blueberry pancake was huge and delicious! Also, the Olympic Tuna Salad is great! I used to go to this place ever since I was a toddler with my mother! I like how they kept most of the atmosphere like it was 20 years ago. It still has that nostalgia feel.

Delicious home cooked food. Serve anything on the menu at anytime (breakfast or lunch / dinner items). Great prices for what you get and quality too and it’s local! This place is usually pretty busy when we come through Hardy (weekends and especially in summer). Highly recommend. We had the bacon cheeseburger and chicken fried steak. Great!

I had brunch here and everything was absolutely on point! From the moment I walked in, the service was friendly and attentive, making the experience feel warm and welcoming. And the food– simply wonderful. Every dish was perfectly prepared, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. Truly a spot that nails it from start to finish. Highly recommend!

I ordered an egg over-easy, a pancake, hash browns & coffee. The pancake was the size of the plate (large & fluffy) & there were so many hash browns I shared some with my friend. It was all excellent and cost $10.10. The service was perfect, didn’t have to wait for coffee refills at all. I highly recommend the Corner Booth; if you visit once, you’ll definitely be back.
