Sikhay Thai Lao Restaurant is amazing! The food is full of flavor, super fresh, and always served hot. Their dishes have the perfect balance of spice, sweetness, and savory taste, and the portions are really generous. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and quick, which makes the whole dining experience even better. The restaurant is clean, cozy, and has a relaxing vibe. And the best part is they offer boba, and it’s delicious! Whether you’re craving Thai classics or Lao dishes, everything tastes homemade and comforting. I definitely recommend trying this place!

This was our first time and I ordered my drunken noodles with beef but the waiter brought me chicken. I probably should have said something but I honestly didn’t care that much. The staff kept offering to refill my wife’s water, but they didn’t ask me because my soda came from a can. I had to ask for another and they didn’t bring new ice, just the soda. Otherwise the food was extremely good and the staff was very friendly.

I’m sure we will come back in the future.

Great Thai and Lao spot with fun drinks at a solid price. We enjoyed their thom kha soup and sweet and sour stir fry. Their iced coffee was also great. Lovely service, would come back again. Definitely share food.

Food is good, I ordered their pork belly, larb salad, wings, and glass noodles. My favorite was the salad and the glass noodles. I think the pork belly and wings are not fresh enough for me and a bit tough. I’m not sure if it’s the fry or the protein but it’s too tough for me. Very good though, would come back.

One of our favorite places for Asian food in DFW and a go-to whenever we want something really comforting and familiar. The outside of the restaurant/lot looks slightly terrifying and run down, but it’s not that way at all inside. Not that I’d call it cute exactly, but it’s pleasant and clean and the staff are all very friendly. The crispy fried fish, Nam Khao (crispy rice salad), Pad Thai, and glass noodles are all really excellent. Prices are quite reasonable.

Note that they use a spice scale from 0-5, but what each one means varies wildly from visit to visit. In our experience:

0-1: Not spicy
2: Sometimes not spicy, sometimes pleasantly hot, occasionally very very spicy
3: Sometimes pleasantly hot, sometimes very very spicy, sometimes burns your face off
4-5: We haven’t messed with these

The food here is absolutely delicious and packed with flavor. This was our second visit, and once again, there was no wait time—our food came out quickly and fresh. I tried the Vanilla Strawberry Swirl with strawberry popping boba, and it was yummy! We also ordered the pineapple fried rice and Pad See Ew, and both dishes were fantastic. Highly recommend this spot!

I doubted that this place had good food when I just entered the restaurant but when I got food, I changed my mind. All the food we got was delicious portions for 4 people except Tom Yum Kung. This soup was too salty and had a bold taste. My family enjoyed the food there other than that. Highly recommend fried rice, beef jerky, and Pho noodle.

Im a regular and every thing I have ever order on the menu has been amazing. From their rich, soup broths in both their phos and soups. are so rich and aromatic .The amazing sweet-and-sour fish. Amazing fried rices and noodles, hit the spot every time! I love the Laos papaya!! The spice is always spicing. Love the Milk teas and all the boba flavors!! You really cant go wrong.

Eaten here a few times and always had a pleasant experience. Tried our first take out order and was extremely disappointed. Portions were small, dry, and undesirable. I would highly discourage anyone from doing takeout from this establishment, or be prepared for extreme disappointment. Spending $80 on below mediocre food is outrageous.
