So glad we found this place as we traveled through Greenville. I love pulled pork nachos and these did not disappoint. Plenty of meat (pulled chicken or brisket also available) and they added grilled onion instead of red onion. My hubby had a very tasty olive burger with a side of very good Mac and cheese. Staff was very friendly and service was great. Prices very reasonable! We will be back.

This was the first time here as we’re traveling for a Football game. The menu had a lot of choices. It was kinda difficult to choose. There are so many great sounding items. I chose the brisket and it was great. I liked how the sauce was on the side so you got to choose which one to use or all of them. There bristle sprouts were top notch and the corn bread was amazing. All of our for was top notch. If I come through the area again I would pick this restaurant again. Great service. Super clean and had a good atmosphere. Well be back.

Hop Hog made for a very filling lunch. I stopped by while passing through the area, and it turned out quite nicely. I was able to sit right down, and the staff seemed professional. It feels a bit like an Applebees inside but with less decoration, but the food is solid. I tried some of their beers, and those seemed decent. I got a two meat BBQ platter with mac and cheese and baked beans that was delicious. The meats were perfectly cooked, and the sauce options really took things up a notch. This definitely seems like a good place for BBQ, and they don’t skimp on the food. It was a good meal.

We drove about an hour and half to try the Hop Hog and it was WORTH IT! We had the brisket, ribs, Brussel sprouts, Mac and cheese, waffle fries and green beans! It was all amazing!!! Cooked and seasoned beautifully! The cucumber coleslaw was so unique and delicious as well! Our server was beyond kind and accommodating, she even gave us a slice of carrot cake after talking with us for awhile! The carrot cake is some of the best ive ever had, the cream cheese frosting on top was beyong addictive! It was an amazing 1st time experience and we will be making yearly trips back! ❤️

My wife and I visited the area looking for a car when we got recommended HopHog to mull over our decision.
When we first walked in we were greeted by a fireplace and escorted to our seats. The service was excellent, and the food matched. I got the Brisket Philly and my wife got the pulled pork burger with a gluten free bun which very good she said.
The atmosphere is quiet, not super loud but has a lot of character. If we are ever in the area again we would 1000% come back. 🙂

Had the Tuesday pulled pork special for 4 and will definitely be back again! 1lbs pulled pork, 4 buns, fries and Mac n cheese (which was incredible!!) for $25, you can’t beat it!! Great bbq!!

The food is excellent and the wait staff is friendly. I had the bay of pigs pizza which was superb. Think wood fired pizza but similar to a Cuban sandwich for ingredients. The person I was with had the lunch combo which was their mac and cheese with brisket and a salad. It looked good and he said it tasted great. Portions sizes are pretty big and we both left with some leftovers.

Food was Eric, I had brisket nachos. Service was lacking. I was warned at the door, if I wanted faster service, sit at the bar. The bartender was covering the bar & half the dining room. Something is wrong here…
