One visit and every other sushi spot becomes “meh” in comparison.

I think its safe to say, as someone who’s never left North America, this is the best Sushi I’ve ever had.

Incredibly fresh, flavorful, and I couldn’t stop eating it.

Every plate that came out looked good and tasted even better.

Everyone was friendly, quick to help, and made us feel comfortable the whole time.

We left full, happy, and already talking about when we’d come back. It was just a really great night all around.

Had an enjoyable dinner here with family while vacationing in Whistler over Thanksgiving break. Read great reviews about the place and decided to give it a try. The entrance was through the Sundial Hotel and was not super obvious but the place was crowded when we arrived so I guess people are drawn here by the word of mouth and reviews rather than foot traffic. The place was well-staffed and service was prompt. We had the salmon skin salad (good, but salmon skin was not crispy as we expected), takoyaki (one of the best we had tasted, including in Japan!), Nabeyaki Udon (above average), omakasei sushi (so-so) and chirashi (good). Good option for Japanese food in Whistler.

This place serves food-court-quality sushi in portions that are too small even for a food court. The food is overpriced and poorly made. I’m not sure what explains the crowd, as the food is really not good. I’m giving them two stars because the price is tolerable when converted to USD.

I’m a 110-lb female, and 1 appetizer + 2 special rolls didn’t leave me full. That might have been acceptable if the quality hadn’t been so bad.

Food was excellent, friendly staff and amazing service. Unfortunately didn’t take a photo of the deep fried calamari but that was SO GOOD!!!! We didn’t make a reservation but the were quite full.

Great food – the Box Sushi was a surprising gem! I highly recommend it. The lemon really brings out the flavour of the roll and is surprisingly really good! My friends who ate the Super Hiro Roll also noted that it was one of the best rolls they have ever tried. If you are looking for a good deal, definitely go for the 4 course meal offering. The staff were super friendly and accommodated us even though we came in about 45 min before closing. They even extended last call for us and let us stay to finish our food past closing. The lady serving us was very friendly and shared some great stories of bear encounters – thank you to the staff for the excellent customer service and food!

Really enjoyed Sushi Village. The service was attentive and had great recommendations. We sat at the sushi bar(which is always the preference for me). Great atmosphere. Good menu. I would highly recommend the Black Cod, Sass Roll and Scallop Nori.

Would definitely go again. Don’t listen to the bad reviews. They are just gaslighting or complaining about inflation. On the US$ prices are very fair.

We showed up at 5 and walked right in. 30 minutes later there was a 90 minute wait

Still the best in town – after twenty years consistently, brilliantly, superb. Simply the best most amazing staff and the most incredible quality of food in whistler. As a long time local this would be my first choice for dinner every time.

Best sushi and fun atmosphere in Whistler! We often visit Whistler with our family and sushi village is always our go to spot. The staff is very friendly and even with large crowds they are able to have fast service and high quality sushi! Even while visiting with our 2yr old son we had such a great experience as we were able to get our own booth in the back of the restaurant. Highly recommend for families and larger groups who want to have a fun Whistler experience. Make sure to get the Sake as they have enormous bottle sizes at such a good price!

Sushi village you have outdone yourself. The shining star of your establishment is your dedicated server Dylan. Dylan provides exceptional, heartfelt service and he really made our evening. Your sushi is great and the tunes are banging but wowee the strawberry sake margarita jug is FANTASTIC!!!!!!! I dream of sushi village every night – it’s only been one night since I first visited but I have a feeling this is gonna be the case. If you had merch I would buy it all. (Please give Dylan a raise.)
