I am writing to express my complete and utter dissatisfaction following a recent visit to your Wingstop location at 1331 8 Mile, located inside the shopping plaza. To describe my experience as horrible would be a gross understatement—this visit was beyond unacceptable and left me in complete disbelief at the lack of professionalism, sanitation, and basic customer service displayed by the staff on duty.

From the moment I entered, I was met with complete disregard. Not a single employee acknowledged customers walking in. The staff were far more interested in their personal conversations, laughing and joking among themselves, than actually doing their jobs. It was as if the customers were an inconvenience to them.

What I witnessed behind the counter was nothing short of disturbing. Aside from one young lady who seemed to take hygiene seriously and washed her hands regularly, the rest of the staff showed zero regard for sanitary practices. Employees were digging in their faces, tugging at their pants, playing with their phones, and running their fingers through their hair—all without washing their hands before touching food or packing orders.

When I politely raised concern about the lack of hygiene, the reaction was nothing but hostile. One staff member actually stopped bagging my food mid-order, rolled her eyes, and went to sit down, as if I had no right to expect basic food safety or courtesy. To make matters worse, the manager on duty witnessed this and said absolutely nothing—no correction, no apology, no accountability. Their silence was loud and complicit.

I waited 45 minutes for my food, and I wasn’t the only one. Multiple customers were sitting in the lobby frustrated, waiting on orders that were just sitting on the rack growing cold—completely ignored by the staff who were too busy goofing off. Again, no one was calling out names, checking tickets, or even attempting to work with urgency or care.

The entire experience was a clear reflection of mismanagement, lack of training, and a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction. It is deeply concerning that a food establishment, which should be held to a high standard of cleanliness and professionalism, is allowed to operate in this condition.

Unless there is serious restructuring at this location—from leadership down—I do not see how I, or any other customer with even a basic expectation of service and hygiene, could continue to support this Wingstop. This was not just an off day or a small mistake. This was a complete breakdown of operational integrity. and even as I left at 8 o’clock after ordering at 7 o’clock he still hasn’t washed his hands utterly disgusting.

I urge you to investigate this matter thoroughly and implement immediate changes. The current state of this location is a liability to your brand.

Came in at midnight, they were super slow, despite this they made me place my order online. After spent 10 minutes downloading the app, the entire time all 3 employees are sitting in chairs in the back on their phones. My food was ready very quickly but that was because they gave me cold old wings that had been sitting. They tasted disgusting but I was tired from a long night of work and didn’t have the energy to argue with these employees and get a refund. I am writing this review from the bathroom because the food made me sick. Do not eat here

If I could’ve given the restaurant zero stars I would have. The food I received was old overcooked, wings, and cold fries. I called the store to talk to the manager about the quality of the food. The manager Dominique refused to get on the phone and yelled in the background that he was tired of people calling the store complaining that they’ve received old dried wings and that his store didn’t sell old dry wings. I got back in my car and drove all the way back to the 8 mile and Woodward location of Wingstop all the wild. I was still on hold when I got to the store Dominique was not in the store. One of the workers called him to let him know that I wanted a refund when Dominique came back into the store he never acknowledged me, and he never issued my refund. He ignored me and turned on his music, blasting it throughout the store full of customers. This location has poor customer service. The manager Dominique has a bad attitude and should never work in customer service this was a horrible experience and I’ll never go back to that location ever again nor will I ever go back to another Wingstop Wingstop has completely lost me as a customer.

I literally cannot order anything from there. It dont matter the time of day. It’s always online orders only. Then they tell you as an attitude, when I walk in there, it seems like it’s a problem. I have to go to another location. This is the only location that does this. The owner does not care, this been going on for years. I completely go out the way to go to another location.. there is no way the owner Do not know I think he tells them to do online orders only … then you when you look at the response to the reviews, it literally says the same thing every time, It’s almost like this auto automatic response like AI not really the owner..

If you are a doordasher please don’t pick up orders from this location or you will be met by rude employees. I waited patiently for about 15 to 20 minutes watching a employee bag up about 15 orders so I simply asked is it possible to pass a few of them out?? the employees immediately got rude so the fact i just seen that same employee get into a shouting match with another doordasher & REFUSED to give him his pickup I knew they would do the same to me if I said anything. After they got rude I got into a shouting match as well when they REFUSED to give me the doordash order I was there to pick up. PLEASE DONT GO TO THIS LOCATION

The owner of this location needs to come in during the evening to visually see how the employees interacts with their customers. On Jan 8th around 7:00 PM I came in to place an order and was asked to the order online. One customer left because she only had cash. Does the manager/owner know that thus happening? The counter was beyond dirty and sticky. The beverage area was trashed. The young lady was on her cell phone and kept playing in her hair “Unacceptable. The cook had on gloves, however when the wings were done we had to wait for them to drop fries.Was given the wrong flavor of wings and when I tried to call back no one answered and yes I did complete the survey.

Terrible experience here on 12/9/25 at 2:05 PM I went into place an order with cash. After waiting 25 minutes I was told they are only accepting online orders since there is no cashier but someone was helped before me using cash. I believe I was racially discriminated against they were making fun of my accent the two employees in the back the African-American girl with glasses and the older Caucasian lady in the back.

The food is what it is. But the staff was put in horrible conditions. They only had 2 people working at night and making at least 15 different orders. You could only order online. The wait was almost an hour. Every word out of the employee’s mouth was Profanity.

It’s crazy to me that I have to order 10 wings or an entire combo with sides and a drink that I’m not Interested in in order to get chicken from this restaurant. I never eat more than 6 wings, the only side that I’d like would be corn cob but that doesn’t come with the combo… so basically i gotta get 10 wings and then order corn as a side.. yeah this is ridiculous.. Yall gonna go outta business with this foolishness. How you gonna make people order more than what’s they can eat or afford??? I won’t go back
