I placed my order over the phone and the woman who took my order told me it’ll be 15 minutes . I got there 20 minutes later and it took another 20 minutes to actually receive my order . I ordered 2 steak breakfast with eggs + grits and requested for the steaks to be cooked to medium . The steaks were actually well over well done (TOUGH) , grits were lumpy and under cooked . The only thing that’s was edible was the eggs and toast .

I cannot believe I have driven past this place so many times It took someone from out of town to be in the car. We grabbed some burgers and they were amazing. Each and every bite was absolutely delicious. The lady who assisted us was pleasant and helpful and the cook killed. And to top it off we got to learn a little bit of history about this business. I went to this Royal Castle today for the first time ever and everything about it was pleasant. I was greeted when I entered, the place was clean, the food came out quickly and, It’s tasted great!! Crazy to think this is the last one to exist! I hope it never closes!! I will definitely be back.

This is the last Royal Castle left on the planet. Royal Castle is to South Florida what White Castle is to the Midwest. They made their first slider in 1938, and at its peak in the 1960’s, there were over 150 locations, 40 of which were in South Florida. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would give them a 7, although I give the owner a 10 for keeping the last one open, terrazzo floors, and all. It’s worth a visit for historical reasons alone. The sliders were cooked to order and served hot. Throw in a root beer for the full vintage experience.

Just know their hour’s have changed they close at 3 pm Monday – Sunday. The staff still offers friendly service with a smile, the restaurant is clean, which is a MAJOR BONOUS, and the prices were fair.

Location is so CLEAN! The service was great too. My family and I enjoyed our food. Everything came out perfect, hot and fresh! The food was looking so good when it came out, I forgot to take a picture of our food. We were so ready to eat it LOL. This is all I could take a picture of. We devoured it all.
