This review is really a question. I ordered a large pizza and a calzone right after Agron sold the business. For what ever reason it was not the same taste that I loved when the previous owner had control of the menu. I have had to go to the other locations around the city that was close to what I loved. My question is, have you gone back to the original recipe, that I always loved or do I have to keep going to the other Ray’s? You’re about a mile away from where I live, so I’d prefer to visit your establishment.

The building itself is kinda cliche, I can’t lie. It’s NY style pizza and it’s got the mural of the NYC skyline on the back wall, but it’s cozy and has got a decent amount of room in it. As someone who grew up and spent the first 20 years of their life in NYC, it’s always a challenge to find good pizza anywhere else. I’ve tried almost 20 pizza joints since moving here and most suck, but this place is a hidden gem. It’s not *exactly* what I’m looking for, but it’s pretty darn close. Their pizzas are large, generously covered in whatever toppings you choose, baked to perfection, and taste amazing. They also have phenomenal wings. They use big ol bone-in wings unlike the tiny ones that other spots normally use. On top of that, they’re also extremely generous with their sauce. Most places put one wings worth of sauce on a twelve piece and this place drowns em which is my favorite thing. I love this place, have ordered from them like 15 times now, and plan to keep going back. I feel like the only thing missing from their menu is a chopped cheese.

Been going to Rays since the late 80’s definitely not like it use to be. Staff was nice. Place looked really run down. Food did not taste the same but it has been a couple years since ate there last. Pizza was soggy in the middle but not from grease. Wings were okay very dry needed more sauce.

This was a takeout order. Pizza was cool temperature. It tasted as if it were reheated. The wings (mild) were on par with most local places. I had ordered a large antipasta salad and it was missing from my order, though they refunded the cost relatively easy. The fried mushrooms were small but tasted good, again on par.
I did a take out order so didn’t really get to enjoy the atmosphere but a game was on and looked enjoyable. Service was prompt very quick interaction. I would suggest trying it, but I will probably not return.

Ray’s pizza is the best pizza in the state of Arizona! I’m living in Jacksonville, Florida. I wish they had one here. I used to live in Buckeye, Arizona and my husband and I would always go to Ray’s pizza for the best pizza. I hope in the near future, you can have one in Jacksonville, Florida.

I ordered a takeout medium pizza. I ordered pepperonis on one side and sausage on the other side. It had pepperoni and sausage on one side and cheese on the other side. The associate said it would take 8 minutes to make another one. I said no thank you. When I got back, I ate the pizza with a friend and it was not that good. I’ve had better and for $22 for a medium pizza that is ridiculous. I would never go back to Rays pizza again just saying I could’ve bought a pizza at the QT right next store for $13 and QT pizza was better pizza. Just saying

I think this is the first time im gonna leave a review. The food is great and the people working the front are really sweet. I dont know what all these negative reviews are talking about, but this place is the place to go for a delicious pizza and especially the wings. Super good 100%

Went last night (3/9) and looked like they didn’t have the usual crew working. Pizza and wings just weren’t their usual good stuff. Apparently New York Style crust on Sunday’s is thick crust now. There must be shortage of wing sauce as well, wings were dry with no sauce. Pictures show what $46.51 will get you. We only order a medium cheese and 12 wings with 2 small drinks.

I got the two slice supreme pizza. At first it thought it was expensive for only two slices until it came out. The slices were more than generous with its size and toppings and the crust was so crispy. I couldn’t even finish it, so it was worth it. Angelina served me and she did a really great job.
