This has got to be the hardest day ever why? Because THE BEST POPEYE EVER IN THE WORLD I DRIVE ALMOST THIRTY MINUTES TO THIS LOCATION AT LEAST TWICE A WEEK me and children’s favorite chicken restaurant decided to give me raw chicken and I mean RAW AND RED I couldn’t believe it we always go around the same time for dinner and this has NEVER HAPPENED I did my usual online order and then upon arriving to the restaurant, I decided to go in and add more chicken to my family‘s order
I call called today 2-4-26 to explain what happened The manager Was completely rude and inconsiderate to the fact that they just gave me $40 worth of raw chicken I explained to him I had my receipts and pictures and I can also show him on my app that I order all the time he was completely dismissive. It said well I’m only gonna give you four pieces of chicken. By the way his name was WALTER but no need to worry WALTER you just lost your company some money I eat here at this location AT LEAST TWICE A WEEK FOR A FAMILY OF FOUR shame on you be a better manager dude I hate this but I will not spend my money where I’m not respected.

Atmosphere? It’s fast food kitsch. Serves the purpose. Great smells inside. The food never fails. By far the best fast fried chicken available. I particularly liked the Mac & cheese side. This is one of the nicer locations I’ve been to. Pleasant prompt service.

Great friendly service. I’ve been coming here for years, always consistent and fresh. A Popeyes closer to me opened in Downers Grove, boy night and day. After several orders there I have to drive out of my way back to this Roosevelt one. Not sure who owns the DG one but man they are nothing like the lombard one. Such a shame, but gladly I can go to this one!

I came to this Popeyes even after I read all the negative comments. I asked them for freshly made chicken and fries. I got 2 old pieces of chicken and warm fries. I didn’t check my bag because the box felt pretty warm. Trust me go somewhere else!!!!

I gotta say, I only came for the beignets and it was different from the traditional but it’s Popeyes, like fast food what u expect. That said, they’re fire none the less. Hot, crispy, greasy, sweet, chewy, chocolatey, such an intensely rich experience. I especially loved how as you eat it the gooey warm brown substance comes out of the crusty, yet supple and sweet hole.
