It’s been a min since we hit up this spot, but damn, it did not disappoint. Service was solid, drinks hit the spot, and the food was !!! Those steak fajitas were on another level, huge portion, loaded with flavor, straight-up perfection. Definitely coming back for that, and if you haven’t tried it yet, you’re missing out. Highly recommend!

In all fairness, we had wanted to go to Garcia’s in Chandler but apparently it’s closed and maybe not even the same franchise. However, we were promptly seated and within seconds I smelled sewage coming from the restroom. I asked if we may be moved to a different table and they said yes, except they didn’t bother to help us move our apps or drinks. The smell subsided but briefly. Then our food came. There is something about AZ, where ordering green chile can be a hit or miss and 9/10 it’s a miss, so for that sake I won’t even touch that issue. Our food did not taste pleasant at all. I did not know you could remove the flavor of pork out of carnitas! The chile verde was over seasoned with something we just could not pinpoint. The pinto beans were an odd color and taste. The Spanish rice was of course dry as per usual in places where Mexican style food is Americanized. My mom couldn’t even tolerate her stuffed poblano pepper with shredded chicken where the chicken was submerged in a cream of chicken sauce without shredded chicken. The meal did not reflect the description. The elote tasted as though it was coated in Parmesan Kraft cheese. It was wholesale awful food to put it lightly. The service was also subpar, because the waiter never bothered to even ask about the quality of the food or what was wrong. He seemed to just accept it and carried on. He was generally polite though. We opted to pay and left our food mostly uneaten.

Food and drinks were great! Sat at the bar area and the bartender was an absolute delight! Will definitely go back.

The only bad thing is the plumbing smell coming from the bathrooms. It’s pretty strong so you don’t want to sit anywhere near the bathrooms. It smells like a plumbing issue, like bad pipes, not like dirty bathroom.

Had stopped coming to any of the Garcia’s after a couple of lackluster meals and service, especially our fave- the original on 35th Ave. Was talked into coming to this one on east Thomas as family was visiting and was surprised at how tasty the food was. Red Chile burrito & shredded beef Taco with charro beans and rice and an enormous chicken Taco salad was super satisfying. Our servers were great handling our crowd with several very little ones but felt a bit ignored by management on our exit…no thanks or a goodbye (hard to miss nearly 20 people leaving at one time).

I’ve been going to Garcia’s for years. The food is consistently very good, and I usually don’t like bran dip, but I love theirs. All of the locations I’ve been to have good levels of cleanliness, and consistently good service. I’ll continue to be back, and I’ll bring friends and family.

Stopped in here for nachos and margaritas and was not disappointed! We got free chips, salsa, and bean dip to start. The bean dip was the best! Had the best frozen, salted margarita I’ve ever had. The nachos were delicious, saucy, and full of flavor – can’t wait to go back.

We went on a quiet afternoon. There was only like two other people there. I was happy with my dish, but I was expecting it to be New Mexican style meaning a little more heat in my chili. We like the salsa and the chips and the decor that they had. Restrooms were clean and the service was good.
