This isn’t the best steakhouse you’ll ever go to, but I absolutely love this location. It feels very classic and old-school, and the food isn’t bad. The service is always good and it is always clean, including the restrooms. It’s never been super busy any time I’ve been there, but the good news is the salad bar is always clean and packed full of options. It does seem like a lot of the unique décor they’ve had around the place has been taken down so the dining room itself does seem a little empty, at least compared to how I remember it years ago.

To start with the hostess was very nice. Went and looked at the salad bar didn’t look bad. Waited like 10 minutes before ordering. I went to the salad bar got some salad. Went to go back to get some soup but the soup that I would have eaten the pot looked like it wasn’t cleaned all day it made me feel sick to my stomach just looking at it. So then I moved to the bread but it looked dried out and so hard to cut.
Why we were still waiting for our food to come I seen alot of the waitress over in a section by the tables just talking and standing there doing nothing. One of the waitress had there butt sitting on the table. The food did finally come and wasn’t that bad. But could have gotten better food somewhere else.

There’s nothing like being pleasantly surprised when you take a risk on a restaurant. We may never be in town again but this was the best meal we’ve had all week.

We don’t eat at hoss’s often. We came for dinner tonight. To be honest, the salad bar seemed kind of stale, and was out of a lot of things. Our meals were decent..but what made our experience good was our waitress Emma. She did fabulous and she was busting her butt, not to mention my son absolutely loved her! She was great!

I chose this place for my family and friends (group of 5). My previous experience at Hoss’s at different locations were great. This time, not so much. We all ordered the salad bar. My husband got the 20oz steak and mashed potatoes, my son got breaded shrimp and fries, and a friend and I got a burger and fries. The lastember of my party only got the salad bar. It took an hour for our main course to come out. By that time, my friend who ordered a burger had to leave for a prior engagement. All of our food came out seconds after she left the restaurant.. my husband’s 20oz steak was an 8oz max and was supposed to be cooked to medium. It came out well done and scored 5 times to check for doneness. Our fries came out warm and floppy and the burgers were bland. We weren’t impressed and didn’t have time for them to fix anything. It already took an hour just to receive it. We won’t be going back.

Decent restaurant with limited food offerings on the main menu. Plus a pretty decent salad bar.
What we did have, sirloin tips and petite filet, were cooked just right and tender. Enjoyed the salad bar too.

Everything was great. The homemade chicken noodle soup is my favorite! Our server Nancy was super nice and attentive. She went out of her way to check on us and make sure we were enjoying our meal and had everything we needed!

My husband and I go to Hoss’s every Monday. We meet a group of friends there and always have a wonderful time. The manager Rodney, always comes to our table and checks on us and they have the best waitresses ever. It is a clean family, friendly restaurant.
