We had a delicious lunch! Lunch special – Fried oysters, fries, coleslaw slaw. Soup or salad was included, I had chicken soup, it was loaded with stock. All was delicious! Another lunch special was prime rib sandwich with blackberry mustard sauce on ciabatta bread, served with fries. This was delicious as well. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. Good prices compared to other restaurants for the same food and good amount of food. Relaxed atmosphere. We will definitely come back!

I’m one of 20 women who had the pleasure of dining at the Atwood Grill for a high school reunion luncheon! The food was fresh and simply delicious, we ordered many different meals and everything was amazing! We also had an incredible server, Beth, who was truly the BEST in every way! She did not hover and had the kindest way of keeping each of us happy! Thank you, Beth! We had Chicken Parm, Chicken Saltimbocca,Veal Marsala, Salmon and Scrod to name a few! Some of us even had boxes to take home as the servings were generous! We are looking forward to meeting again at this lovely place and enjoy another delicious meal!
We would highly recommend the Atwood Grill, do try it, you will not be disappointed!

I’m piggybacking off of my husband’s review so I can add a picture of our, burnt and overpriced, baked seafood platter. The calamari Naples was drenched in balsamic glaze, which made the calamari soggy. Still, it was better than the main course. The waitress came right over after we were seated to take our drink order. (Here’s a tip; it’s helpful to at least crack a smile with your customers). We were lucky if we saw her twice after getting our appetizer. I try to take into consideration that the place was busy, (still can’t figure out why) but when you have to ask the bus girls and kitchen staff for extra drinks, napkins, and ketchup, your waitress doesn’t care. Never had water or bread served either, after being seated. The waitress seemed more concerned with waiting on larger parties. We actually contemplated leaving after we got our app, because service was so poor. I would never go back!! This place is like the Marchettis of Johnston; just full of regulars who have been going here so long, they haven’t explored what real, good food tastes like.

5 of us walked in a half hour before close after leaving a wake, we would have left if we couldn’t be seated bc we didn’t realize the time and felt bad for coming so late. We were assured it was ok and it was! We had hardly any wait for food and my burger was sooo good, will return!

Just had an excellent lunch, where we got the stuffed chicken parmigiana and a meatball parmigiana sandwich. The food was excellent, love their plum tomato sauce.

We have been coming here for years. It’s one of our go to places. The food is always great. Service is good and the prices are fair. We always sit as far from the bar area as we can be ing it is rather noisy/ distracting but other than that, you really can’t go wrong eating here.

The food is great. Definitely some comfort food. Nice family dinning. Service is good, servers tend to you quickly. Highly recommend the chicken carbonara. The portion is huge.

It is a local favorite. Love the tile instead of the carpet. First time where you walk in and the smell of the carpet wasn’t inviting at all but then our second time was very happy because they renovated the floor. I don’t know what else was, but the old rug was out and in with the new tile or flooring. Food was good the first time and 2nd time was just as good.

I used to absolutely love this restaurant; I have been going here since I was 12 without any issues. We even held a banquet here for my dad’s 50th. But today was an absolute nightmare. I brought my mom out for a late Mother’s Day lunch. We were promptly seated by the hostess, she was extremely kind but unfortunately that was the only good part about our dining experience. After sitting for almost 15 minutes, our server finally came over to take our drink orders. My mom had a soda water and I had a water. The waitress dropped the waters off at the table and it spilled a good deal of her soda water all over the mat in front of her. I am a waitress myself and accidents do happen but she never apologized and just left immediately without even acknowledging it happening. From there I ordered the bruschetta and it came out burnt in some areas without any balsamic on it like it said in the menu. I asked her for the balsamic and she gave me a regular bottle of balsamic vinegar. Then she came over 10 minutes after appetizers that letting us know that my meal was out of stock. After how the appetizer went I was no longer hungry so I just shared my moms food. All the other tables received bread around us but she never even offered it. It felt like she was discriminating against us from how we were treated. I look young but as a waitress I tip very well when the service is good because I know personally that waitresses live off tips. But I have never received service this poor in my entire life. When the bill came she charged us $8.95 for soda water which had me shocked to say the least. I had to track her down to get it fixed. Once we got the real bill I found out I was charged for endless sodas for her one soda water. It was $3 just for one soda water off a bar soda gun. I work for one of the most expensive restaurants in Rhode Island and our large glass bottles of sparkling water are only $5. I was tired from everything else that happened and we just paid and left. It breaks my heart but I will never go here again after how we were treated.
