Ordered “super” corned beef sandwich on grilled rye with mustard and swiss; “super” corned beef on onion roll with provolone and coleslaw; cup of chilli; fries; and cake slice. Paid about $65. Sandwiches were fresh, hot, and moist. Fries were lukewarm but well seasoned and potato cut. Cake was moist and tasty. Atmosphere was quiet. Mostly a carryout vibe though there is ample seating for self service dine in. Front line staff were nice and seemed to appreciate their jobs. Cook staff were less so (one was yelling at the other and gawking at me). Food wasn’t ready when I arrived after an approximate 35 min commute post order. Waited about 5-10 min after arrival. Would visit again.

Radio is loud. Place was busy with people waiting. Be prepared to wait. Food was wrapped in paper and served in a paper bag. Sandwich was smashed. Only 2 types of cheese, American or Swiss. Place looks a bit run down. Broken floor tiles and missing TV. Walls look dingy with what looks like sauce stains.

We recently moved from California, and wow—this place is incredible! The food was so delicious that my husband and I found ourselves pinching ourselves in disbelief. A huge thank you for accommodating our request and saving the crusty edges of the bread for us—we truly appreciate it! We’ll definitely be ordering again soon!

First off, there are no bathrooms, even for customers. Out of service.
The place is wide open but, at noon on a Wednesday, no one is eating in. Quite a few carry-out orders I found out while waiting almost 10 minutes to get mine. And everything is prepared to go, as well.
The patty melt I ordered was fine (½ lb with onions on toasted bread), hot and decent flavor and came with a pickle.
For nearly $12 (one of the cheapest things on the menu) though, I’d have done better going around the corner or across the street. I’d have gotten a lot more food for my buck. Can’t see returning here.

LOU’S DELI is hands down the best corned beef sandwich in MI and today did not
disappoint. I got the countermans on grilled rye instead of an onion roll and it HIT the spot!! Juicy and so delicious you won’t even need the thousand island dressing it comes with.

Great food. Terrible customer service. Cashier wouldn’t greet us and this is not the usual, but very disappointing. I spent way less than I would have. I won’t be back.

Never was a big fan of corn beef till I came here. I can honestly say I can eat one of their sandwiches twice a week and they are an hour away (I’m from Flint) best sandwich I have had in a long time!!! Most definitely recommend them! While they are high the quality of their meat, bread and ingredients totally makes it worth it!

Corned beef sandwich was very salty pastrami has a fake artificial smoke flavor was not good at all also a little more expensive than others I have tried.fries were very soggy a fruit fly flew in my French fries and I had to ask for more but a very intoxicated worker was very nice about it and asked me if I would like a return I declined I just will not be returning!!!

I enjoy this ole school corn beef spot, but every time I desire it, I always am annoyed by the menu price increases!! So ridiculous they constantly raise prices, but nothing else like the upkeep and clarity of prices! Went yesterday after an appointment and none of the menus had pricing shown. After $40 for 2 mini special’s I was shocked and mentioned “inflation geez oh pete” cashier replied “prices went up 2 days now” Welp, these prices cause for buying and cooking my own corn beef! Now y’all tripping…like this is a 5 star restaurant

They butchered my order and then blamed it on door dash. I know what I ordered and paid for. Food was ok but was hard to enjoy because instead of eating 2 corn beef egg rolls with American and Swiss, I had it to just eat it with only american because they added cold slaw inside of the egg roll instead of swiss cheese.
