This is my go to place for burgers normally but tonight was something else. I asked for a medium burger and it came out quickly which was good but the thing came out raw. The server was polite and took it back to have it recooked and when it came out again it was still raw except now the edges were kind of cooked. Now this only happened the once and I usually have a good time here but I think I will have to pass on this for awhile until their grill cooks get a bit better and not try to rush out food.

Honestly, the place looks nice, but the prices are outrageous. I could get 2 mels elsewhere for the price of one meal here, and honestly, I wasn’t impressed with the food. I paid for my friend and I so it ended up being a heftly bill. Atmosphere is okay but I just can’t give them anything better because they didn’t have a meal I saw cheaper than 15.99, and they only had one option I liked to begin with. I paid 16.99 for chicken fingers. They do have a nice place for dogs to come to, but they make you order inside even if you have dogs. I went inside to ask and they sent someone outside only to tell us to go inside and buy the meals. Very counter-productive. At the price they charge, it should be free table service.

Terrific food, friendly staff, great venue. Spacious seating makes a great meal that much better after rummaging through the shops of downtown Lakeland. Food hits every mark and love of the craft is present every time I’ve been here. The staff has been honest, attentive and friendly every visit as well. My most recent visit with Kim was fantastic and enjoyable. Truly appreciate the environment and chow. I’ll be back.

I was craving a burger and decided to stop at the chop shop. I saw it last time I was in Lakeland and they had their menu outside by the street and I said to myself, “I wanna try this” cuz the burgers looked so good and the place was packed. It was worth the wait. I ordered the blue suede burger and the von Dutch. Oh man! The blue suede was soooo good. The blue cheese they used was fresh and soft. It wasn’t dry and crumbly like most blue cheese tends to be. It was almost like a spread. It was absolutely delicious. Some of it fell off my burger and I used my fork to pick it up and eat it by itself. It was that good. The burger came stacked high with a huge fried onion ring with super crispy breading. Made to order, they were both cooked to perfection. The von Dutch was amazing also. Our waitress said these are two of the top selling burgers. The fries kind of remind me of a much higher end steak and shake fry. They were quite delicious. I ordered a sweet tea and my wife ordered a water without meals and the total was under $38. You can’t find two gourmet burgers anywhere for under $40. I actually can’t wait to go back cuz I wanna try the breakfast burgers looked that has egg and bacon on it. This place is awesome as you can see in my pics. Go here. I’m telling you, you won’t be disappointed. And if you are, the problem is you. I’ll be back for certain.

One of the best burgers I’ve ever had in my 26 years of life The wait was long however that was due to low staff on a chilly day. Overall the food was 10/10, the burger and fries seasoned perfectly! Kim was amazing! Thank you so much for this experience!

The food and atmosphere were awesome but no one ever came to our table. I dined with a friend of my mine that says the good and decor is sick at this place. ALL OF THAT IS TRUE. However thats the end of it, I get it we order at the counter and served our own drinks at the fountain machine but if I would have know that I wouldnt have tipped $5 on a $24 burger. I was expecting my drink to at least be topped off or something since there was a tip line. I give 5 stars because enjoyed myself and the food was great, large portion of fries and loads of cheese on the Hawg burger but with a burger that big and a pile of fries that high some kind of service would have been nice. I refilled my own drink twice.

Spent $45 on a burger & chicken tender basket. Get home, about an hr or so later my Son Has Food Poisoning !!!!! Now he has to miss school & I have to call out of work to take him to e.r.. .
as a Single Mom we never get to go out to eat !!! & now we probably never will again.. Not here at least !! The lady at the register was rude, i didn’t even get a thank you or a smile when I threw a few bucks in her tip jar for simply ringing in our order!!!!!!
I should’ve taken it back !!! Oh yea We were the only 2 people in that place (inside & outside) the full hour we were there not 1 other person was in that place, and still cooked the food wrong & made my child sick !!!! Smh. This Place is TRASH !!! Costing me HUNDREDS MORE DOLLARS FOR MISSED WORK & HOSPITAL BILLS. THANKS. ZERO STARS.

First, the burgers are incredible. That’s the most important thing. They are pretty expensive, beer included. But the burgers are worth it. I went on a Saturday, they seemed to be short staffed. The place is pretty cool but it’s a large open area and it’s very loud. BUT THE BURGERS… Onion rings are fantastic. Fries are darned good as we’ll.
Yup. I’ll be back. I’ll skip the beer next time. I wish I had taken better photos, maybe next trip.
