I sat at the bar and was graciously served by Chef Kiko.. ordered the shrimp croquette, Croaker & sweet potato ceviche and Tuna belly passion fruit crudo. So special and so delicious. I highly recommend. I’ve never had anything like it! Anyone that loves really good sushi should come here.

I spontaneously stumbled upon A Chevicheria while exploring the Príncipe Real region of Lisbon. It was such a lovely experience! The staff was really kind, attentive, and caring (even asked if I wanted to move seats because of the weather, since my seat was relatively close to the door and it was raining). The food was very tasty and fresh! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Lisbon. 🙂

The octopus was really Well cooked as it was Soft and flavorful. Bruno was our waiter and he was absolutely amazing We enjoyed the space and the atmosphere. We realized we were early for the dinner rush which was nice.

Had such a wonderful meal at this establishment! The salmon and dragonfruit ceviche was fresh, paired well with all the fruits, and was elevated with their sauce. We also tried their pork belly and octopus skewers. The pork belly was very tender and they were generous with the portion sizes. The sea bass and shrimp dish was by far my favorite, with the quinoa twist to the traditional risotto a wonderful surprise. The sea bass was fresh and cooked very well – the simple salt added to it really brought out the taste. Additionally, the foam added a nice salty, milky, and refreshing touch to the rest of the dish. We came in December, so there was no wait, but I would definitely wait if needed. Highly recommend! And thank you to the staff who catered to us.

A Cevicheria de Kiko is doing serious work. The quality is obvious the second the plate hits the table. I had the Amberjack and Aguaymanto and it was flawless. Clean cuts. Bright leche. That perfect snap from the red onion. The aguaymanto added this subtle sweet acid that tied everything together instead of overpowering it. Balanced, controlled and confident.

And the red oyster? Insane. Pure flavor bomb. Please don’t skip it!

The Lucuma desert is great as is, but the magic happens when all the ingredients are mixed together into one bite. Silky, rich, not overly sweet. It lingers in the best way. That’s how you close a meal.

But Vera is the heartbeat of that place.

She knows the art of food deeply. Not surface level. She understands the Why behind every dish and takes the time to guide you through how to eat it properly so you actually experience it the way it was meant to be experienced. That rare level of care makes you slow down and actually respect the craft.

Her professionalism and warmth elevate the entire room. She makes you feel respected, welcomed and seen. Not like a transaction. Like you matter.

The food is elite, but Vera makes it personal. Simple!

A must visit when coming to Lisbon! A Cevicheria was one of the best meals I’ve had in Lisbon! Incredible food and ceviche. The seafood was incredibly fresh and vibrant and the service was also top notch. Ivan and the rest of the staff were very friendly and I will be looking forward to visiting again!

A Chevicheria was recommended by friends of a friend and we have been very impressed by the creativity and quality of the food, as well as the super caring and attentive service. A great birthday dinner. Thank you! We’ll make sure to come back when next in Lisbon. The giagantic octopus on the ceiling though is a bit intimidating…

The food and staff were really great! The ceviche is flavorful and had lots of depth. The dessert honestly took the cake, forgive the pun. It was so well balanced and not too sweet. 10/10 would recommend!

Ceviche isn’t food for everyone. Some people adore it, others feel queasy at the very sight – for me it’s sometimes a mood of “I want ceviche” (something between loving it and not).

I’d noticed this place a long time ago because when you walk past on the street you can see a giant octopus on the ceiling inside. So the other day I had “I want ceviche” mood, and passing the giant octopus I popped in for lunch.

There were plenty of free tables at first, but literally about ten minutes after I arrived they were all filled.

I ordered the restaurant’s bestseller – CEVICHE DE SALMÃO E PITAIA.

Its presentation alone deserves a separate paragraph. The attention to every detail, to every single piece – I wanted to study it, taste it in parts, and photograph every inch.

The combination of coconut jelly, fresh fish, fruit, tapioca, avocado purée and toasted coconut flakes was simply incredible. But honestly, for me there was too much onion. Sometimes, when my fork picked up a few ingredients, the onion overpowered the rest.

I’ll definitely come back later in the day to try other types of ceviche and their signature pisco sour.

Fantastic place for fresh seafood. Their pisco sours are the best I have ever tried. My husband’s ceviche was brilliant. Superb balance and wiped clean to the last drop. Vera, our waitress was helpful and a joy to interact with. She did attempt to see if something vegan could made but they do not cater to any other diets. A gem of a place with absolutely no smell, immaculate and tasteful. It’s a bit small and the wait was a long, but worth it. People tend to have lengthy meals and relish the food so try to book your table earlier.
