We went on a Thursday afternoon. We were the only people dining in. The employee at the counter was friendly and welcoming. The restaurant has 3 small tables. The food arrived quickly. I ordered 3 tenders. 2 very hot and 1 scorchin. The food was good. The tenders seemed smaller than some others I’ve had.

Ordered takeout. I’ve need obsessed with hot honey chicken lately. So while visiting my mother, I was excited to try. Sadly, I was disappointed. The coating on the chicken had a strong flour taste instead of a yummy coating flavor. The tenders were nice size, served on white bread, the mild heat was perfect. The dipping sauce was good. But overall disappointed by the coating. I will stick to either Broadway Hot Honey Chicken which is excellent and Dave’s Chicken which is a close second.

I can’t lie the chicken was pretty bad. It’s really bad. Low quality. Small portion barely fits on the tiny bun they served it on. The loaded mac and cheese with fries was pretty good. But it’s definitely a heart attack on a plate. Once in a while type dish for me. I’ll be back for that one day. But I’m not giving the chicken another try. Better off going to KFC and putting hot sauce on your chicken. Service was ok. She seemed miserable though. And the place is tiny so I probably wouldn’t dine in.

This is our families new go to spot! My husband who has never written a review in his life insisted I write one ! He had the scorchin wrap tonight and said it was so hot he couldn’t finish the fries, but said it was absolutely delicious! He’s just going to do the extra hot next time. I love that they offer a no spice option for myself and son who have a low tolerance to spicy foods. The chicken is super juicy and crispy ! The girl who takes the orders is also very sweet ! Love love love this place!

I checked out Asad’s Hot Chicken in Sicklerville, NJ, and overall it was a solid experience with a few highs and lows.
The service was great, friendly and quick, and the prices were not bad at all, especially for the amount of food you get. The chicken itself was good, not quite on the level of Popeyes but definitely better than most spots in the area. What really stood out though were the sauces and the fries, honestly some of the best I have ever had and worth coming back for on their own. Did not get a milkshake as the prices on them seemed pretty expensive.
The restaurant itself is small with limited seating, so it feels more like a takeaway spot than a sit down restaurant. On top of that, there was no air conditioning inside, which made it uncomfortably hot and sweaty on a warm day. That being said, the place has a modern and hip vibe, which adds to the overall appeal.
If you are looking for flavorful hot chicken at a good price, Asad’s is worth a visit, just maybe plan on grabbing it to go, especially in the summer.

This place makes the best hot chicken I have ever eaten, including in Nashville. As someone who loves hot food, I will say that all the spice levels up through “Extra Hot” are not hot enough… the “Extra” is just hot enough to be pleasant when I’m in the mood for a hint of spice. But the last level, the “Scorchin”, is absolutely no joke. Strong burn that makes you sweat and lasts for about 5-10 minutes. Absolutely amazing. The meat is always perfectly moist, the sliders with slaw and pickles are more like a full sandwich than a slider… just awesome.

Pretty good overall, thick pieces of chicken and they give you a lot of food. Pretty busy inside and quite small, would recommend take out since it gets crowded inside easily. Food was great, and so was the vanilla milkshake!

Visited this location because I was close by and I kept seeing it on IG. Tried the chicken sandwich, tender and loaded fries along with a smoothie. Everything came out hot and within 10 minutes. The loaded fries are great and easily a 7.5/10 but they do get soggy fast. The chicken is crunchy and the Assad sauce gives it a little spice. They have multiple flavors and “hot” level for the chicken
