We came in as a group on Wednesday night working from out of town. We ordered 2 cheese burgers medium rare and they came out well done. If we are paying $18 for a good cheese burger we expect it to almost perfect, otherwise we can eat at any fast-food or normal restaurant for a $12 burgar. Also 1 of us ordered a reuban with what was suppose to be honey mustard and instead had a heeping over the sides amount of spicy mustard.

I recently visited the Wooden Nickel Pub at 3269 Inner Perimeter Rd, in Valdosta, GA. I went there once and have been back to the Wooden Nickel several times. Nice parking, and when I sit at the bar I am greeted and my drink order taken timely..The bartenders have provided good information on specials and the food has been great. A good place to go!

We ordered the mixed sampler and 15 hot wings today. The mushrooms and wings were burnt black. The cheese sticks were cheese less because they were also overcooked. If the restaurant had better lighting people might be able to see the food conditions before try to eat it!

New to the area, and still trying things out. Came out for date night. Great place to bring the kids. I ordered a red sangria and bacon cheddar fries to start. Sangria was good and the fries were OK. I prefer melted, goopy cheese and it was like they may have set for a minute. Hubby ordered the chicken salad salad and was very happy with it. I ordered their taco salad. Not a traditional taco salad, greens, chili with beans, cheese, and tomatoes, with salsa and taziki sauce on the side. Looked like a flour tortilla, which because of gluten intolerance I didn’t eat, but the rest of the salad was good. We ordered food to go, a club for my husband and a cauliflower crust pizza. Our orders came out quick and our server was responsive.

I was really craving a burger for lunch today and decided to do a pickup order. I’ve had others entrees from WNP and they’ve always been good, but the pub burger I had today was awful! There was absolutely NO flavor/seasoning! I spend $18 on a burger and fries and couldn’t even eat 1/2 of the burger. I’m not sure what was going on in the kitchen, but it was quite disappointing to get back to work and not be able to enjoy my lunch.

One of my fave spots to eat in Valdosta! Especially for lunch! The waitstaff is always friendly and efficient, and drinks/food arrive quickly. Everything I’ve ever ordered has been great, but my faves are the red sangria, fried mushrooms, the gyro, and the camelback.

The Philly Cheese steak sandwich and chili dog special were really good. The fried mushroom were pretty good as well. The French dip sandwich was just ok. Over all we had a good experience and will be back.
