Social Profile:

On January 17, 1920, the Volstead Act took effect across America banning the sale and consumption of alcohol. For the next 13 years Americans were forced to conceal, bootleg, and otherwise break federal law to consume their favorite libations. Thankfully, on December 5th, 1933 the 21st Amendment to the Constitution was ratified and the citizens of this great country were once again able to enjoy alcoholic beverages legally.

My wife and I had lunch at Amendment XXI and were absolutely blown away! She ordered the Bloody Mary, and she’s still talking about how it was one of the best she’s ever had in her life. It even came garnished with meat and cheese! I tried the Nectar of the Gods IPA, which was excellent.
For our meals, I had the Deep Fried French Toast, and it was incredible. Every part of it was perfect, from the eggs to the potatoes with sautéed onions. My wife had the Ruben, and she loved it, especially the crispy fries.
The atmosphere was lively but not too loud, and the staff were all super helpful and friendly. We sat at the bar and really appreciated the clean “eating boards” they provided for our plates—such a thoughtful touch. We had a fantastic experience and will definitely be back to try more of the menu!

Consistency is the biggest problem here. The first time the food was really good but the service was somewhat lacking. The second time the food was OK and even though the place was nearly empty the service was horrible; had to ask for cutlery, no one checking on us. I was hoping that the food quality would make up for the loud, cramped restaurant with higher than average prices, but this is going on the low to none rotation. You had two chances and neither time hit it out of the park.

Overall good experience.
Food tastes great and very much a true bar atmosphere.
My only and biggest complaint on a Tuesday night was the staff was far more attentive to each other than the few tables that were present.
Drinks all came at different times and we ended up not ordering a second round due to how long it took for server to come back.
I would definitely give it another go but wasn’t an ideal experience with friends.

Good food and great drinks. Currently more bar food and typical American fair than the quality entres they used to serve. Highly recomend the unique barbacoa meat dishes they have. Busy spot on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, weekdays are pretty chill.

First time here was awesome – food was good and service was fast and friendly. Unfortunately, the second trip was a major let down. Service was basically nonexistent; the one employee I did see seemed more interested in chatting with a guy at the bar and hiding behind a display. Food was ok but the soup had cold spots while the side salad was half croutons and had some rusty lettuce pieces. Overall, there are better restaurants in town.

Stopped here to warch the seahawk game while on a road trip. First time ever wife made the comment about a breakfast. “Best breakfast ever” had the Santa Fe sandwich (an elevated version of avocado toast). I agreed with her.

Really enjoyed this bar. Burger and wings were delicious. Sweet & spicy dry rub on the wings that had good flavor and served hot. Great bartenders too. Would definitly go back ✅ perfect bar for talking over good food and drinks.
