The staff were friendly and the place was extremely clean.
The food was very fresh (both the fish and the salads served with it).
Reasonably priced lunch.
Worth a visit if you want a lighter fish meal.
Light modern ambiance, friendly staff, casual setting, speedy service.
For lunch time i had , as they said, the best backfish in town, and , it was delicious. So simple but good. Tasty non mayo kartoffeln salat, good sauce, and 2 chunky pieces of battered flakey moist, juicy tasty fish.
Under €14, that’s a grrrreat deal.
This is in its category a great place to eat fish , especially at lunch time. And a walk in the park after.
Yes!
Dressing for fish was fine, but complimentary dressing for bread, served before meal- just awful. All 3 types of dressing looked like they were made 2 days ago (creamy dressing even had something like crust over top – buehhh).
2. Service. We came a bit after 7pm and waitress asked “do you have a reservation?” We hadn’t. “No free place!” We were going to leave but then I asked if they have reservations for the all tables all night long? Only after that waitress mentioned that we can take places at the high table. Was it too hard to say that in the beginning?
Moreover after 20-30 minutes after we came most of people leave and the restaurant was 2/3 empty. We could wait, but no one offered.
3. Service for children. Perfect. There is a kid menu, they brought the paper for coloring and pencils even before we ask, after dinner our daughter was offered different candies. Nice.
4. Prices. Not too high – we paid less 50 for one huge salad, one main dish – enough for 2 adults and a child, plus one glass of white wine and beer.
5. Other. Huge disappointment was they hadn’t lobsters that evening, it was actually the reason for our visit.
Personal were very flexible, we didn’t have a reservation, but got there right at the opening door.
By need of some fresh air, one can always grab the food, at the extra counter they have-attention different opening hours-and hit the Wall’,a park right across the street, from the building.
Worthy the visit. totally coming back.
