Funky Lil Mexican spot in an old house. The restaurant was fairly clean. The only server was a bit lacking luster as I had to flag her down for every single thing. Food was not amazing as it had been previously cooked and then frozen. It had a weird texture and was dry, yet greasy. The meat and veggies had an unpleasant flavor. The toppings were fresh at least which made it edible. The chips were old and salsa and bean dip were not great either. After asking for a check we decided to leave. Not bringing leftovers with us; Which we never do, that should tell you all you need to know.

Lovely Mexican food. Very basic, spice balanced and homemade. As others have shared, the house salsa is perfectly hot spice balanced for the normie, which is to say they still add a little heat spicy but not overbearing or uncomfortable. The salsa in my mind is like the restaurant, perfectly balanced and delicious.

Wonderful food! I loved that the restaurant wasn’t super loud, we were able to talk it was our anniversary ❤️ it was perfect and a calm atmosphere. I had the house flights and ill say the lavender was really good! I also enjoyed the peach….not a fan of banana but 3 out of 4 isn’t bad . Great place to stop, on your way out of town!

Place was busy!! Once we were seated it took a while for our server to get to our table. She was delightful and apologetic for the wait but we understand as they were all busy helping- once we ordered the food arrived fast!!
Our Margaritas were delicious and the food too! The salsa was delicious and spicy!! Just the way we like it!

Was passing through town and had built up an appetite. Bean dip and salsa was nice. Service was good. Portions were large. Had some electronics in plain view in the parking lot and it wasn’t stolen. Was pleased about that.
Would consider stopping by again if I’m in town.

Mexicana is a local place in Tillamook. Its a family owned spot that we always try and stop at when going through town especially during the summer. The owners are usually there and have a chat with the patrons. Covid rules have made everything more difficult dining out but this place has it dialed in! It’s one way through the restaurant. All the staff is wearing their masks too. So it’s feels safer than a lot of places that flout the rules. We ordered a giant shrimp plate, carne asada, and we basically tried every margarita they had! We had a large family of 10 and they easily accomodated us. Very patient with the kids too. Although ours are generally well behaved. Keep your masks on people! Enjoy the food and good times. Order the mango frozen margarita! It’s the only one I didn’t get a pic of!

The food was fresh and delicious but the service sucks. We felt uncomfortable from the minute we walked in the door. Staff seemed like the were arguing about not wanting us in there section. Service was slow, communication between staff sucked. One person takes your order, another delivers food and yet another refills drinks and another processes your payment. With so many specialized jobs you would think it would be fast service but it was a cluster f*#!. No one was in sync, our refills never made it, our chip refill was given to a table next to us and they were confused why they got it. Our table was cleared and it took another 20min for our check to arrive.
If you can handle horrible service to get some really great mexican food this is the place for you.
