We ordered the Andy roll, the Alaskadelphia roll, and the Bonfire roll, and every single one was absolutely delicious. The flavors were fresh, perfectly balanced, and beautifully prepared. You can really tell they take pride in both quality and presentation.
If you’re looking for great sushi and outstanding service, Tomo Sushi is definitely worth a visit. We’ll absolutely be coming back!
We didn’t do the ramen challenge but we may come back to try with my teens.
The service was very slow, we went without water for most of our meal.
There were only a few other parties in for dinner on a Friday at 8pm, but they sat us all on top of each other. Plus, the lighting is way too bright and overkill for a weekend dinner.
There are items on the menu specifically labeled gluten free!
The atmosphere was that out of a whole restaurant, we were one of two tables at what should have been a Saturday Lunch Rush. The waitress seated all of us patrons in the same section which was hardly private. The waitress didn’t introduce herself at all and had a very non-chalant attitude about our selections. She had a septum piercing as well well as strands of hair failling out of her ponytail and in her face (I worry about hair in my food). The decor is faded, dusty, floors lifting up, and laminated print outs of food stuck to the walls as if the menus were not enough. Faded pictures do not look appetizing.
When our food arrived, which took a while considering how few patrons there were then, the sushi we ordered with shrimp on top, still had shrimp shell remnants, and the avocados were brown on more than one roll. It didn’t feel as fresh and vibrant tasting as before. The price being more than what it used to be …we paid and left, agreeing this would probably be the last time we’d visit this place as we cannot award lower quality for a higher price.
The place, and menu could use a makeover and grand re-opening.

This place is amazing for a romantic date or family night. We had a 20% off coupon that we got for coming to Tomo Sushi on our anniversary (which was an amazing experience by the way) Kenny was our waitress who was from Indonesia and her Manager Melissa as well traded great banter with us about cultural differences. It was so interesting!
Today I brought my whole family in, recognized Kenny and she waved me over. She told me the last time we were here my husband forgot his credit card. They kept it safe for us! And they remembered us almost a month later! That’s going above and beyond. How awesome!!!
Kenny asked us if we wanted to try some sake with our sushi and we agreed. She brought out something fancy that looked like a potion! Lavender sake? Never heard of it, before but it was HEAVENLY!
The sushi appearance was so well arranged, you felt guilty because you were eating art (see the attached photos). I’m not exaggerating! Last but not least my kids ate fried icecream (they never had it before) and Japanese soda. They were mesmerized by the little marbles inside the bottle!
When we were ready to pay, she reminded us to include our coupon. I mean WHO does that!??? I thanked her and whipped it out. I was amazed the last time, and left with a big smile on my face this time.
Really guys. Well done!!! We will be back again and again and again!
