Of all the sushi I’ve had in Utah, this was hands down the best. The fish was excellent quaility and they give generous proportions. Sushi rolls were unique and every one we tried was delicious. I liked that the menu had a theme, and wasn’t just your generic “special rolls” that every sushi resturant offers. The waitress was professional, friendly and happy to be there. She wasn’t pushy at all, and knew the menu well. The ube ice cream for dessert was top notch; they also sell it by the pint which we ended up buying one to take home. Price was on the higher end, but wasn’t outrageous. By all means, well worth it and I’d definitely come back.

While it lacks the true authenticity of Japan-level sushi since it leans toward fusion cuisine, it’s still one of the better sushi experiences in SLC. The interior is posh, the food is beautifully presented, and the staff is friendly. Although it deviates from a traditional Japanese setting, it still makes for a very enjoyable dining experience overall!

Came into dinner with my husband for a date night. We both love sushi and decided to try a new location. There is both indoor and outdoor seating which is nice. There are several options of sushi rolls on the menu that aren’t like rolls you would get everywhere else. Lots of options for sushi rolls to try. We were happy with each roll we ordered. The lollipop sushi roll is definitely unique.
Our server was very kind and attentive, answered any questions, kept our drinks full, and sweet.

The Mint sushi at Sugarhouse and Cottonwood Heights were solid. In this Mint? My friend had their signature dish Jalapeño hamachi and loved it but my own sea bass was just ok. It was bland and fish was over cooked. In terms of dish composition, I also wasn’t thrilled. The fish was tiny and there were two deep fried jalapeño and deep fried sweet potato. The garnish tasted fine but I was looking for something more healthy. Somehow a seemingly healthy dish was turned into a bunch of deep fried stuff.

Found this stylish late-night sushi and tapas restaurant, and they did not disappoint! Our server, Bo, was excellent and kindly guided us through the menu with her insightful recommendations. We loved the double shrimp roll! Everything we tried was phenomenal, and the ambience and aesthetic were the perfect atmosphere for the delicious food and outstanding service.

Highly recommend. I am a sushi connoisseur and this is a great “go to” sushi experience. I loved the spice mix served with the nigiri. I love it when nigiri gets dressed up and while they didn’t do that, I was given a delicious mix to dress it myself. Also the rice was warm! IYKYK. I also had the Saturn roll which was excellent.

i drive by here every day on my commute to work and we finally stopped in for dinner. im glad we did!
the sushi was overall meh. i didnt try their sashimi to taste how fresh the food was yet. but the rolls were nothing special and very american with a lot of rolls filled with cream cheese. wasnt really a fan of the sushi. but the tapas plates were all amazing and full of flavor. we ordered one of their “specials” for the night, a few pieces of seaperch. that was honestly the best thing ive tasted in the past year or two and im still thinking about it. i really enjoyed all the plates but i probably wouldnt order rolls next time. i might try the sashimi tho. its pricey but its nice inside and i would go again to try more of the tapas plates.

Ube ice cream is out of this world! It’s best ate in the restaurant to have an ice cold bowl to keep it dense and really cold, but I’m so happy to have it to go since this is one of the few ice creams I can eat with my lactose intolerance and no bloating.
Mango Cheesecake, was amazing as a plane cheesecake but the mango pieces in it didn’t give much of a mango taste and it was served with strawberries which I’m allergic to. I also just wished I could have more of the cheesecake but sadly I was given a very small slice as if it were a sample and with the price given, it came as a surprise how small it was. I think I only got two bites out of it. So this came as a big disappointment. Other than that the quality was amazing and food tasted amazing and is healthy.

After an awful bust for our Valentine’s dinner it was close to 10pm still no food. We called Mint. They said come on in! We can seat you right away! We got there felt welcomed and comfortable as soon as we walked in the door! We had the best experience. The best food. The best service. The kindest lady Izzy helped us that night and made our Valentine’s Day extra special!! Thank you Mint! The galaxy lollipop was out of this world !! ❤️ Definitely will make this a regular place!

Love Mint!! It’s not your classic “sushi place” – and for the better! My wife and I recently did the sushi making class and LOVED IT! We were blown away. Chef Soy (owner of MINT) taught the class himself and was incredibly talented, funny, and personable. It was a great ‘date night.’ HIGHLY recommend (especially for the price). It’s a lot harder than it looks! He uses super fresh ingredients, which is super evident by the taste. We have family coming to town for the holidays and we’re definitely planning to bring everyone for what will surely be a memorable night!
