Aside from being walking distance to many places I’m not sure I’d recommend this to anyone.
We arrives and the hosts looked less than enthused to end their convo and give us attention to seat us.
After being sat we waited about 10 minutes before even getting drinks ordered or seeing our server. There were maybe 4-5 other tables sat at this point.
Once we ordered the food came out speedy fast so I will say high regards for that! However, the cold brisket, and the rock hard corn bread – you’d have better luck breaking a window with this sorry piece of gluten and waste of calories than you would eating it. When explaining to the server he seemed clueless, and being a server myself I just pointed out that I’d talk to the kitchen to ensure they don’t continue to serve them. He looked dumbfounded and I literally tapped the rock hard cornbread muffin onto the counter – see video – to which he still just nodded and then left.
Very VERY mediocre. Looks good, tastes bland. I’d avoid. Pricy.
The bartender recommended the wings, so that’s what we split. They are smoked first then fried before service. They only have bbq and buffalo sauce, which we got on the side so we could try both.
I must admit the wings were very tasty, served hot and some of the juiciest I’ve ever had. The sauces were great and homemade along with the ranch and blue cheese dressing. Very good meal and just enough for the two of us to munch on before the game.

Food itself was ok. Not the best BBQ in Kansas City I’m sure (meat was a little tough and dry and portions quite small), but I don’t think this venue needs to work hard to get customers, being in the location it is.
Service was good. Plenty of sport on display via multiple screens.
