Good thing food is delicious, (street corn and spicy cole-slaw are Amazing. Brisket was tender and juicy). Bartender was too occupied ( there were only 2 other people at the bar). Manager served the beer and took the order while waiting.

One of the few places that could accommodate 10 on same-day reservation. Fairly priced (barbecue is always priced a bit touristy…). Solid portions of local barbecue; FYI a full rack is probably too many ribs. Easy space, and hard to beat within walking distance.

Such a great and authentic place. Ribs were amazing and the baked beans off the hook! You’re going to need the paper towels. Cool vibe and great country music. Great place to pre-game like we were or watch a game. We’ll be back!

Food was great. Super cool location. The bartender I think his name name was Adam was amazing and has a great personality. Pretty cool tattoos also. He even made me one of the best rusty nails I have ever had. I will definitely be going back.

Aside from being walking distance to many places I’m not sure I’d recommend this to anyone.

We arrives and the hosts looked less than enthused to end their convo and give us attention to seat us.

After being sat we waited about 10 minutes before even getting drinks ordered or seeing our server. There were maybe 4-5 other tables sat at this point.

Once we ordered the food came out speedy fast so I will say high regards for that! However, the cold brisket, and the rock hard corn bread – you’d have better luck breaking a window with this sorry piece of gluten and waste of calories than you would eating it. When explaining to the server he seemed clueless, and being a server myself I just pointed out that I’d talk to the kitchen to ensure they don’t continue to serve them. He looked dumbfounded and I literally tapped the rock hard cornbread muffin onto the counter – see video – to which he still just nodded and then left.

Very VERY mediocre. Looks good, tastes bland. I’d avoid. Pricy.

This is a good location and restaurant if you are looking for basic bbq. The food is coming out quickly, and offers a basic bbq experience. There is definitely room to move this up. My food was warm and tasted ok. The Kansas City flavor profile that I was expecting, was definitely not there. The service was friendly and knowledgeable. The location is great, in walking distance to most of the major hotels in downtown, and right next to KC Live. My score is 4.1.

Our hotel was downtown and County Road was within walking distance. We stopped in for lunch before a Sunday night chiefs game.

The bartender recommended the wings, so that’s what we split. They are smoked first then fried before service. They only have bbq and buffalo sauce, which we got on the side so we could try both.

I must admit the wings were very tasty, served hot and some of the juiciest I’ve ever had. The sauces were great and homemade along with the ranch and blue cheese dressing. Very good meal and just enough for the two of us to munch on before the game.

Venue was incredibly busy due to show being on at T-Mobile centre but we took a buzzer, got a drink and sat on balcony which was nice. Got buzzed about 15 minutes later which was good.
Food itself was ok. Not the best BBQ in Kansas City I’m sure (meat was a little tough and dry and portions quite small), but I don’t think this venue needs to work hard to get customers, being in the location it is.
Service was good. Plenty of sport on display via multiple screens.
