Yummy food at this American diner. You get the feel like you’re at a 1950’s restaurant once you get in. I ordered the San Francisco Melburger with a Coke and curly fries. It was delicious. Besides the food, the customer service was excellent. Looking forward to trying their shakes.

A & I love this restaurant. We love the classic music. The food is simply delicious. I know there’s more locations within Sacramento County but this location is truly our Cheers of restaurants. Hometown feel for sure. And Haley (hope I spelled it correctly) is just the nicest waitress we’ve ever met. We’re 11 months new to Sacramento, for sure this will be our go to spot.

We went here for brunch and the place was pretty busy. Our waitress was quiet, but nice and attentive. The prices here are a little high, but you do get a good amount of food. Biscuits were a bit dry. Everything else was just eh, okay but not like over the top amazing.

Good food and service, but needs some updates. My elderly parents enjoyed it, and the menu has plenty of options with filling portions. Staff was friendly, and parking was easy. However, the decor has been reduced, with one section now for sports, and the bathroom feels outdated and in need of renovation.

Stopped in 8 pm with the family. Very friendly staff. Very clean. Fast service. Food yummy. Hot Dog came in a paper 50’s car for the little one. She chose fruit and ate it all. I had turkey sandwich and clam chowder. Both excellent. Others had burgers, fries and onion rings. All tasty. Played the jukebox and fun reading all the songs from 50s, 60s, 70s, etc. Bathrooms clean. Handicap acessible.

This Mel’s dinner is really good, the staff is very nice and friendly, and this place is always extremely clean! I would highly recommend this location!!! I feel like they truly care about their customers and are happy to serve anyone that comes in! Ichha is also an amazing waitress here, she always has a smile on her face and is very attentive!!! You wouldn’t regret stopping by this place!

The quality of food and service has gone down tremendously and the decorations have changed from 50s diner to sports diner.
The interior design of this location takes you back a couple decades. I love the atmosphere and the welcoming waitresses. Wish they’d open up again!

I absolutely love this place! It’s my favorite breakfast, lunch, and dinner spot ever! The service is always top tier! The staff is extremely friendly and caring of their customers!!! I come here weekly sometimes even twice a week because it’s genuinely a great place and the food is amazingly delicious! I highly recommend going! Certainly the best Mel’s in Sacramento!!!

We love playing music from our table. It was a fun experience for my 23 year old daughter, who said “I won’t know any of these songs.” Then ended up playing several songs as we flipped through them. We were having brunch with my Mom. Our food was DELICIOUS!
I had the best 3 meat omelette ever. 10/10
My daughter had the Chicken Parmesan and mozzarella sandwich with curly fries. She enjoyed it.
And my mom had the country fried steak. She shared it with me and it was pretty good it tasted a little bit like the oil might need to be changed.

I had the chicken fried steak and eggs this morning excellent. I rate my breakfast… Hashbrowns 90% of a score everything else 10% of the score. Steak and eggs excellent. Hash browns off the chart good. I love Yummy Hash browns and that’s what I got.
