Whoever decorated this place is brilliant. I love all the photography of Actors and Musicians, all the Quotes, the vibrant colours, and great music. The food was absolutely delicious, and the bacon is the best bacon I have ever had. Turns out Floyd’s has their bacon specially made just for them!
I would rate a 5 but the food did take awhile to come out, the lady serving us was on her own and was fairly busy, so maybe could use more staff..That being said it was well worth the wait, and our server was lovely.

Absolutely lovely breakfast. Wait staff were phenomenal. Had a knack for just making you feel comfortable. Food was amazing!!! I had the Herb Hudson Benny. Atmosphere was very tasteful and unique. Would highly recommend this spot as a breakfast stop if you’re in the area. It will be worth it

The food was delicious! People are very friendly, and the staff were incredibly considerate and helpful. They recommended the roasted yam and squash bowl, and we added an extra piece of fried chicken, so good! A solid 10/10 experience.

Absolutely delicious food, great service and a really chill pleasant atmosphere! The new location in the Royal Scotsman is also much more open and a lot easier to get around in than the pink house. Me and my mom agree the American Idol is the best eggs benny we’ve ever had and the pesto hollandaise is to die for.

Awesome meal at James Bay Floyd’s Diner. Kevin was engaging and lots of fun with plenty of recommendations. He and all the staff checked on us often and topped up the coffee. Food was tasty. There was little wait for a table and for the food but we came by early when it was relatively quiet. Where we were seated had movie posters from the 80s, very chill and relaxed. Thanks Kevin!

Every time I come to Vancouver Island, I make sure to stop by—this is my most treasured place. I was so disappointed when my favorite menu item, “poutine”, was no longer available. Still, the food here always makes me happy.

It was a nice walk getting here. I usually come with friends but felt like an outing solo was a better vibe. This is not my first time here but it’s been a while and I’ve never been to the location before. I was recommended the Moroccan Chicken Benny. It was busy so I didn’t get as attended to but I understood the reason. Good was awesome. I’m glad I took the recommendation, sweet chutney and chicken married well with the hollandaise. I enjoyed my experience very much and I was able to get some words down.

Opens at 8 AM, to me that’s late for a breakfast place, especially on vacation., Food was good pretty good, pancake was as expected, bacon great. Beef deep was nice, didn’t like the modified dip, with soy sauce and it was way too salty. Had the hot or spicy ham soup, it was horrible, way way too hot overkill I think it was intentionally sabotage because they sell an all you can eat bowl and there was no way to finish a single bowl, no flavour all fire. Bad job kitchen. Had traditional eggs Benny two days in a row, was fine, eggs done right. atmosphere was relaxed and good. Service is okay, inconsistent one morning the kids pancakes came with a free drink and whipped cream option and another neither of them were offered. The Floyd’s potatoes are these deep fried, dried out disks, you can substitute them with something else. Been back for 4X for brunch.

Such a thriving place. Very good service from speedy folks. An amazing, conversation sparking, decor of photos and items. So much to see. The menu takes a few moments to read. Lots of mouthwatering choices. The breakfast we had was delicious, seasoned appropriately and just huge. The picture —-that is a lot of food for 20.95.
We are visiting Victoria and will go back to Floyd’s tomorrow. Only going to order one breakfast for us to share. Conveniently located in the Royal Scot Hotel on Quebec Street right near the Parliament Buildings.

Welcoming staff and friendly service. Last week the Homer Benny was exceptional and the veggie scramble was ok served with a generous portion of potatoes and a plenty of toast. Really no need to eat for the rest of the day! Would’ve preferred chipped hashed browns to sliced home fries though. Fun to be there when a fellow diner won the Mahoney challenge.
Returned for the Homer Benny this week and was disappointed. Potatoes were tough. The roasted yam and squash bowl recommended by our server however was excellent and would have that again next time.
