I visited here one evening with a couple friends to get food after getting drinks at a nearby bar. Ryan was bartender/server who was great. I order red wings and fries. The wings were HOT, fresh, and well seasoned! The fries were also really tasty. My son ordered bacon cheese burger and fries, which he enjoyed. I would definitely return when I’m in the area again. My friend and were just visiting to do some hiking!

Love this place. Food and drinks are great and very reasonably priced. Nice inside with a great little patio with several tables and great vibe.

Kind of hidden away, so you can usually find a place to sit. Free parking next door after 5pm.

Side note…I do like this place, so I won’t let one bad worker lower the score for the whole place, but there is a female bartender with such a negative vibe, next time I see her working, I’ll turn around and go somewhere else. Two bartenders on when we went in on Sunday night, the guy was awesome. She was just really unpleasant to everyone, but because we’re also in the biz, we left $30 cash tip on $100, because that’s what service industry people do…not even a thank you. If she had been pleasant, or made even a tiny attempt to be kind, we would have stayed longer, purchased more and definitely tipped more.

First impression when coming in wasn’t that great. The blonde bartender talked very abruptly and seemed like she was in a hurry even though there were maybe ten customers. It seemed as though she was more worried about the patrons she knew. She seemed more interested in talking to the customers to our left about how he use to work at Wild Wings, her trip to Disney coming up, and the customer to our right fixing something on his phone. The food took a very long time. We were the only one to order food the entire 30 minutes we were waiting on our food. Finally, after having her back turned towards us for a considerable amount of time I was able to flag down the waitress who was absolutely lovely about our order! The food was really good and the waitress was once again amazing! She honestly saved the experience for us in the end. I even forgot my debit card and when my partner went back in the bartender was eating and didn’t acknowledge her. Just like before the waitress had to come and save the day. Because of her the review didn’t receive a one star.

First the good… Our waitress was attentive and pleasant and served our food in a timely manner. Good and hot. Well maybe not good but we’ll get to that.
As it has Brew pub in the name I asked which beers they brewed so I could taste them and was told they don’t brew beer there. That was disappointing. I did have some mountain lager that was pretty tasty though.
We were looking for just plain hamburgers but ordered the specialty burgers off the menu that came with seasoned fries. The fries were well seasoned, pretty tasty, and a good amount. The burgers however, were very disappointing. We both ordered medium and both came well done. That being said, they were still moist (ish) but not as ordered. Burger patty itself was nice and thick but completely under seasoned and whatever seasoning was on there neither my wife nor I enjoyed.

Waitress was very helpful and accommodating for our party of 8. My bacon and cheese burger with fries was amazing, flavor and seasoning was great!

Exceptional service, atmosphere seemed more local than touristy, solid food. The burger was better than the bratwurst in our opinion.

Really delicious food. The zucchini fries were the perfect amount of breading and seasoning. I wish they would have had a larger selection of local beers to choose from. This spot was recommended to me by a local gun shop owner and he was right it was definitely worth the stop. The homemade chips were good, a bit greasy and over cooked but overall very tasty!

Great food and honestly amazing prices for it. The drinks are a good value as well. Some of the cocktails are among the largest in Asheville for very reasonable prices. And their taco special on Tuesdays is phenomenal. Really love this place!

Truthfully, the macaroni was overhyped, but the burger was fantastic.
I’ve been in asheville for 2-3 days and it was our favorite thing we’ve eaten so far.
Also, the cider I got was very good.

Edit: I’ve come back to add to this review, 5 months later, to say that my partner and I still talk about this place and the burger we had.
We’ve come to the conclusion it’s one of the best burgers we’ve ever eaten and I want anybody who reads this to know that.

A great little bar that’s close to everything. The food was excellent. Genuinely some of the best spinach and artichoke dip I’ve ever had. Wings and pork sandwich were legit as well. The staff is great and the service is quick. I’d highly recommend dropping by for some late night food or drinks.
