Decided I would do a little breakfast this afternoon and decided to stop at Bob Evan’s in Huber Village. I ordered a Western Omelet with Hash Browns and Biscuits. The omelet wasn’t cooked enough, a lot of liquid inside. Hash browns definitely had been sitting for awhile and just barely reheated on the grill. The biscuits were a little hard and just barely warm. Had to ask for jelly, it might be a good idea to ask customers if they would like some since it isn’t on the table. There was only one more table being served while I was there, yet my server didn’t come back to refill my water. On to management who stood up at the counter and chatted with another employee about their families. I would say their Senior Management could make a couple after hours visits and find some things to improve the service at this restaurant.

Stopped in with some friends, it was Sunday around noon so it was a bit busy which we understood. However, our server Jennifer was absolutely terrible. She should reconsider her job. We waiting an hour for our meal, and during this entire time she only stopped by one time just to say the food was going to come out soon. But for the entire hour, we didn’t get a single drink refill. All our water cups were completely empty, someone had gotten hot coffee and it was never refilled. Even after we got our food she still never refilled our water. In the past when I’ve gone if you got a meal you got some bread or biscuit with it while you are waiting on your food, we did not get that or anything during our wait. Jennifer is not attentive whatsoever. And to top it off the food was soggy and lukewarm like it was sitting out. I can’t recommend this place to anyone , and if anyone is going make sure you avoid the server Jennifer. Hopefully if the owner or manager sees this they can correct this and make sure this kind of service doesn’t continue. 0/5 stars if I could. Proof of server and date attached

Food is very consistent. Atmosphere it the same at all of their restaurants. Staff is in no hurry to serve you and get you out of there. Many older people st slow is a good fit for their customer base.

The servers at Bob Evans are absolutely fantastic. They’re friendly, attentive, and clearly doing their best to take care of guests. You can tell they genuinely care about the customers and work hard under pressure.
Unfortunately, the kitchen seems to be a completely different story. The food takes far too long, orders come out inconsistently, and there appears to be a lack of organization behind the scenes. What’s most disappointing is that the frustration from the kitchen seems to get directed toward the servers, who are already doing everything they can.
Management really needs to take a closer look at what’s happening in the back of house. The front-of-house team deserves better support, because they’re the reason I’d consider coming back.

First off it was thanksgiving and 9:15 when I ordered online. I was advised it would take 40 minutes for my order to be ready.
The fact that my breakfast was cold and lukewarm when I got it home is less of the issue today.
They have a limited holiday menu- so I would expect it would be cooked thoroughly. Our potatoes were undercooked and had an odd taste to them, even when we cooked them further they tasted on the verge of being rotten- just off.
They did not out any butter or honey or jelly in the bag, nor did they have any out. Biscuits were cooked thoroughly and good. My over medium eggs had some runny white to them(which is not over medium).
I prefer my sausage more done and gave 1 away.
Overall the meal was not worth the $25 spent for certain!!

Totay I dined at Bob Evans in Westerville, and I must say, it was the best experience I’ve had at any Bob Evans location! From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our server, Gen, went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, making us feel right at home.
The food was absolutely delicious! The bacon and corn were my favorites, bursting with flavor, and the lemon garlic chicken was fantastic as well.
I also had the pleasure of chatting with the manager, Ali S, who was a delight to talk to and clearly dedicated to providing an excellent dining experience.
I can’t wait to come back next Sunday! Highly recommend this location!

I was extremely disappointed today was valentine’s day. The fiance wanted bob evans today. We arrived at 9am took 10 minutes before we were seated multiple servers looked at us but didn’t acknowledge us. When we were seated I asked if they were busy we have to leave by 10am for a massage appointment i said if not thats ok we can get McDonald’s no hard feelings. They assured me that was more then plenty of time. 955am food was not there and we asked to take it to go they said it hasn’t been started yet so we had to leave if it was any other day no biggie. But valentine’s day and I get if you needed more time but I asked they could have told me there’s not enough time we would have food before her appointment now she went hungry to her appointment.

My husband was initially hesitant about dining at Bob Evans, but I insisted we give it a try, citing the quality of their food. As individuals with extensive experience in the restaurant industry, we had certain expectations. Unfortunately, our visit to Bob Evans fell short of those expectations.
Our server, an older woman named Jen who appeared to have years of experience, neglected to provide us with silverware, which we had to request. When it finally arrived, it was dirty, indicating a lack of attention to detail. Jen attributed this oversight to changes within the establishment, despite the fact that she was training a new server. It’s worth noting that the fundamental principles of service remain constant across all establishments. “The 10 steps of service”
Additionally, the banana bread was undercooked; I initially mistook it for two end pieces until I flipped it over. I brought this to the attention of the General Manager, who graciously offered us a loaf of blueberry bread as a gesture of goodwill.
It is my hope that this Bob Evans location can learn from our experience as seasoned professionals in the service industry and enhance their operations by improving service, ensuring food is properly prepared, and providing clean silverware.

Today’s visit was the absolute worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant. I arrived about 6:10 pm. It was me, and 2 kids. We were waiting on 2 adults and 2 more kids, for a total of 7. We were sat quickly. I waited about 10 mins for my other guests in which during that time I was never greeted. Once my other guests arrived, we waited about 5 mins before I realized no server was planning to come. I went to host stand, and host sent us a server. Server did explain that tonight was her first night serving. She took our orders, slowly, but that was to be expected for the first time and we were accepting of that. After confirming she had our order right (but never did ask about which bread choice we wanted), she left. She literally never returned without us having to get her or another server to help us. She never refilled waters, so we called her over and asked for water refills, in which she didn’t come back. So we had to ask again. After about 30 mins of no food, we called her over again to ask if we could get our bread. She asked which kind and left to “get it”. She never returned. We never did get that bread. Once it hit 7:10 pm, so a full hour, a different server noticed we were looking around at the kitchen. So she came over and asked if we needed anything. I asked how long until our food arrived, we had been here an hour and we had someplace to be at 7 and we were currently late. She stated some food was already coming up, so it wouldn’t be long. By 7:20, still no food. We realized we could not stay any longer because we had some place to be and we were already late. I walked up to the kitchen area were a different lady was checking orders and plates, and I asked if they could just box our meal because we had someplace to be. She said somethings were already plated, but they were still waiting on 5 of the 7 meals. Now at this point I recognized that my soup had been plated for over 15 mins sitting on the counter, not under the heat lamp. From past experience, I know this soup would not currently be at temp, and would fall in the danger zone. But that is beside the point. I asked the lady if she could give me an estimate on how much longer, as we were over the hour mark and incredibly late to a commitment, not to mention, we had 4 very hungry children. She told me she could not give me an idea of time. I explained we are probably going to have to leave them, and she said ok. So we left! We were in the restaurant for near an hour and a a half. No food, no bread, no apologies. These people had zero interest in taking care of us. With how long the wait was, we could have at least been served our bread. No one seemed to care we had hungry children, and we trusted our evening to Bob Evans to feed them, when we literally could, and should, have gone somewhere else. I have never felt as dismissed as I did tonight. I have worked in restaurants, and currently work in the service industry. I know this is not standard protocol for any of the issues that arose tonight. I was completely blown away that they just let us walk out empty handed after 1.5 hours. This location is a bad reflection of what I assume Bob Evans would like to reflect. We will take our business elsewhere from now on, as you have lost all of our trust.
