Had breakfast here while I was pregnant and it was exactly what I needed. When you’re pregnant, you don’t just want food — you want something truly satisfying — and this place delivered.
The coffee was smooth and comforting, and the French toast hit the spot perfectly. Warm, flavorful, and just the right amount of indulgent. It felt like such a treat and left me completely happy (which says a lot during pregnancy cravings!).

Solid experience. I’ve been waiting to come here for awhile a they’re always packed. Finally struck at a good time and walked right in. The decor is cool and classic, bright and open. Lots of windows. The staff was delightful. I had an issue with my breakfast burrito and they took it back and replaced it (honestly, they did more than what they even needed to do – I would’ve just taken the bacon that was missing on the side. Instead, they have a whole new plate! Kudos). My wife had the steak and eggs which was good and the coffee was tasty as well. Not bad, I would definitely visit again. Recommended.

My wife and I just had the best breakfast at Brownstones Coffee in Amityville. We went all out and ordered the Feast, French Toast Bites, and the Breakfast Scramble, and wow, everything was seriously delicious. Each dish had so much flavor, and you could tell it was all made with care.
The vibe of the place is so nice—really warm and inviting, perfect for enjoying a meal together. Plus, the staff was super friendly.
I also appreciated the portion sizes; they were just right—not too big, but enough to hit the spot without leaving us feeling stuffed. If you’re looking for a great breakfast spot, you’ve got to check out Brownstones Coffee. We’re already looking forward to going back and trying more of their tasty options!

There is one long room, and a smaller comfortable room. They take names in order to seat the crowd properly . My friend and I enjoyed two delicious cappuccino’s out of many varieties. They looked very fancy.
There are all kinds of lunch and brunch dishes to choose from, also many types of fancy egg dishes w a choice of cheese and meats. We loved it!!

Parking is difficult. The lot is not that big and several stores share it.

Came in on a Tuesday afternoon and got a seat right away. I am a huge fan of eggs Benedict and had to try their classic Benedict. It was delicious, and not too heavy or hard to eat. The potatoes on the side were so good. My husband enjoyed his French toast bites and said they were very filling, the berries were super fresh. It was a great price for the portion! We will definitely be back for another brunch date soon.

I visited Brownstone in Amityville on a busy Sunday after a walk at Jones Beach. We called ahead and gave our name, but there was an issue when we arrived—the server didn’t check us in properly, which led to a 40-minute wait. It was a bit frustrating to see people seated before us who had arrived later. I understand it gets really busy on weekends, but better coordination at check-in would improve the experience.
That being said, once we were seated, the food came out fast, and everything was freshly made. We ordered “The Feast,” which was the perfect breakfast/brunch—sausage, ham, bacon, pancakes, and 3 eggs. It was exactly what we needed after the long wait. I also enjoyed the iced coffee with cold foam, which was really good. The corned beef egg benedict was a bit average for my taste, but overall, the meal hit the spot. Just be prepared for a wait if you visit on the weekend!
