This place saved the day for us after getting awful wings at another place and we walked away. We were hungry and found the Big tavern down the road. It was a 2 part having a Steakhouse on one end and the tavern at the other end with the kitchen serving both. We opted for the tavern side and the server was witty and quick to serve us quipping “that girl over there at that table is making eyes at me” the French onion soup my wife and daughter ordered was delish and my so in law ordered burgers. They looked wonderful and tasted fantastic! You could tell the chef took great care in everything that leaves the kitchen. Will definitely be back next time were visit our daughter in Maine!

Food has always been good. Tonight changed all that. Spent $50, left 10% tip on take out. Waited 30 extra minutes from given time. Asked for butter, was charged an extra $1.08. I was fine with that, I was looking forward to a good meal I didn’t have to cook. I ordered the pork Chop special with bacon jam. It was cold and dry. The broccolini it came with was ice cold and 2 spears of broccoli. The bacon jam was BBQ sauce with way way to much liquid smoke. The highlight of the meal was the warm baked potato. I can’t believe I waited an entire hour for two entrees when there was only five tables in the dining room.

Food was good. Prices were off. I am a chef for over 35 years. I am just curious how they figure there food cost for dishes. 26 bucks for Mac n cheese with some pork belly. Not quite priced correctly. Work on your good cost

Love this place. People from all walks of life. You can talk to the table next to you, and it doesn’t much matter where they’re from. Does that make sense? Go… you will see what I mean. The food is fantastic. The service gets 5 stars from me because they do their best with the staff shortage in Maine. The atmosphere is all about the people. Sit down and strike up a conversation with the table next to you. You’ll see what I mean. I’m a little upset that they got rid of the pool table, but I can live without it.

This place has the best burgers! It’s a bar, but very friendly with good service. There were a lot of regulars here but they were also just as friendly to us “strangers”. We enjoyed our meals, drinks, and experience. I would eat and drink here again.

Nice outside seating if you want. Drinks were cold and thankfully not too strong. Had potstickers, the sauce was a bit too spicy. Service was pleasant.

Waited for over an hour and never got served. Others came in after had same experience. Finally got food and it was ok at best. Workers there have attitude of not wanting to be there and we bothered them. This has happened to us twice there. Never again!!!
