We went into this with no expectations and weren’t disappointed. The food was surprisingly good, especially the chorizo dip we got to supplement the complimentary chips and salsa appetizer. The service was fine, but there were some language barriers. The atmosphere and decor were pretty standard. This was a welcome break from the roadside diners where we had been eating on a long roadtrip.

Service and atmosphere was good.
Food supposedly good, it just the waiter didn’t ask and we completely forgot to tell him which tortillas we wanted for our tacos.
I only like corn tortillas in anything.
And it came up with flour of course.
The waiter explained to me, if they have latino customers they would ask if they want corn tortillas but since we’re not Latino apparently he or the rest of the crews assumed that we only like flour which that’s not the case for us.
Lessons and learned.
By the way we had tacos al pastor and carne asada.

Scammy billing practice. The food is decent but the server added a couple of additional charges including 15% gratuity (for one person) and a random $1.5 charge; an additional tip was also expected. Initially, I thought that the server made a mistake. When asked for clarification, his response suggested that it was done intentionally. Disappointed.

We stopped for lunch on the way to Pennsylvania from Maryland.
Had the fish tacos and my husband had the chicken chimichanga, both delicious and the chips was super fresh!
Looks like they have great drinks too but we had to drive after lunch, so, maybe next time.

You have to get the Pollo Adobe if you can. It was the best thing I had there, and I came back a second time to try other things. Haha. I also ordered the Shrimp chimichanga and it was fine. The Pollo Adobe was so good. The drinks were good too. I got the pina colada margarita.
Their chips and salsa are not good tho. The chips arent salty or greasy enough. Sometimes you pay at the counter after, sometimes you pay at the table after. Not sure why, and they didn’t tell us which to do.

I enjoyed the veggie fajitas definitely full of that authentic flavor. I highly recommend their homemade hot sauce if you like to add a good kick to your meal. Chips are decent salsa as well. The Pico was excellent.
Service was prompt and we were checked on regularly which I really liked. I would recommend eating here if you’re in town. Parking can be a challenge if you have a big truck usually the lot is pretty full.

Excellent homemade food in Somerset Pa. The authentic Mexican dishes were very flavorful. Very generous portions! Very reasonable prices!

To start, our waiter did not show up till about 15 mn of us being seated. He did not introduce himself nor greet us insted he started complaining about how busy he was. The food was cold, and the tacos were tasteless. I was very disappointed. The other waiter was more friendly.

You walk in and within seconds you get chips and salsa unlike many other places , there frozen margaritas are the best I ever had ever ! And there steak burrito was incredible! They won plenty of awards , and cheapest place I been too .. this place deserves more then 5 stars ..
