Reviews
On my most recent visit to Indish, I was reminded again why this place feels so special every time I walk in. The warm atmosphere, friendly faces, and comforting aroma of spices made the whole experience feel welcoming right from the start.
I began my meal with the Masala Papadum, and it was the perfect start. Crispy, light, and topped with fresh onions, tomatoes, masala, and just a hint of lemon—every bite was a burst of tangy, crunchy goodness. It set such a high tone for the meal that I instantly knew I was in for something amazing.
Next, I tried the Veg Hakka Noodles, and they were nothing short of fantastic. Perfectly tossed, packed with vegetables, and full of that smoky Indo-Chinese flavour—it felt like comfort food at its best. The Steamed Momos were just as impressive: soft, juicy, and incredibly flavourful, especially with the spicy chutney that adds the perfect kick.
But the moment of the evening—the dish that stole the spotlight—was the Amritsari Kulcha with Chana. Crispy, buttery, and generously stuffed, paired with rich, flavourful chana, it was honestly the star of the show.⭐️⭐️ The authenticity and flavour were unbeatable and so true to real Amritsari taste.
Overall, this recent visit reaffirmed why Indish stands out every single time. From starters to mains, every dish had its own charm, and the consistency in flavour and quality was impressive. Definitely a 5-star experience, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit!
From the start, we encountered issues. Some of the items we ordered never arrived, and only after we followed up were we told they weren’t available—no tomatoes, no lettuce, no shrimp—because of a “long weekend,” as the server explained. It was frustrating that this wasn’t communicated upfront, especially since these ingredients were part of our meal choices.
The way the food was served also felt careless. Instead of placing the dishes conveniently next to us—where there was clearly space—the staff awkwardly placed them far from reach, making the whole experience feel impersonal and inattentive.
What truly annoyed me, though, was what happened right after we finished eating. We hadn’t even asked for the bill yet, but the server came over and asked us for payment though they removed a bill of one order because they are lacking of some items— its as if we were being rushed out. It felt disrespectful and unwelcoming.
It makes me seriously wonder if the staff at this restaurant are trained at all—not knowing what’s out of stock, lacking basic serving etiquette, and rushing guests out? That’s not the experience anyone expects from a proper dining place.
I do not recommend Indish. This was a disappointing experience from start to finish. Hopefully, they take feedback seriously and make improvements.
The service was quick and everything was served hot. The place is clean and has that homely indian vibe that makes you want to come back again and again.
Overall, a must-visit spot if you’re craving real Indian flavours.
Highly recommended!!! ️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The food is consistently delicious, full of flavour, and the portions are generous. I also love that they’re open late and even during the holidays.
Indish is my go-to spot for great food and incredible service every single time!
