Empire Board Games is cool with it’s coffee shop vibe and desserts. Slice and Dice on McMahon beats it in every category!
The wide open feeling with the bay windows, customer service is 10/10 and the pizza is really good too. Games are cleaner(cards had penny sleeves!) and better cared for and there’s no per player/hourly fees. All around winner! We really enjoyed ourselves and will be coming back!

Slice and Dice is such a hidden gem! It’s a great space with a nice selection of games, or if you’re like me I enjoy coming to play MTG with friends. The pizza is fantastic and the service is phenomenal, everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend for anyone of all ages!

Those who are lactose intolerant, REJOICE! My son is lactose intolerant and said the pizza was super delicious. We were happy to finally find a pizza place that offered cheese he could enjoy! They also offer salads, subs and appetizers like Wings. 🙂
The vibe here is super chill and is perfect for all ages. They have a ton of fun board games to play while you are visiting also.
I added photos of the Garden pizza. First one is with regular dairy cheese and the second is the vegan option. You can’t even tell the difference.^___^

I really love this place, especially because their gluten-free subs work with my dietary restrictions and still taste great. Just a heads-up, the bread is better untoasted and you might want to add extra meat since it’s pretty thick. The wings get high praise from others, the table games are fun and well cared for, and the service is super helpful plus, the game shop has a solid selection at fair prices.

Such a fun concept and good vibe. Filled with families and groups of friends happily playing board games and card games. They have a wide selection of games on shelves for customers to enjoy. We played a card game while we waited. Our pizzas and salads were generous and delicious, our salads were really fresh, pizza is deep, Chicago-style, with high-quality ingredients. The guy who took our order and brought it to us (we did to-go) was really friendly and cheerful. Not as quick to get the pizzas out as MOD or Domino’s but the quality was worth the price and we had the card game as a diversion while we waited. Would recommend.

Smaller than the Eastside location, still has space for families and fun. If you’re having an event I’d suggest doing a reservation.

The pizza was pretty good, I would try it again for sure. I ordered to go but the staff seemed friendly and they have different games you can play while eating pizza which is different but pretty cool.

Well they aren’t 5 stars for no reason with 700 reviews. We ordered to go and it was delicious! Very courteous as well as they offered napkins and paper plates. The pizza 5/5 crust, toppings, sauce it’s all delicious. The salad is also really good for a side salad it was filling and bigger then expected! The topping ratio is like art, and not thrown on there to where it gets soggy like other places. The game selection looked broad I can’t comment more as we didn’t dine in, Simply ordered to go online and will be doing so frequently every other week/ month when we have our pizza cravings. Everyone looked to be having a good time, I saw plenty of beer and games on tables! There’s stuff for kids as well.

This is a great concept and the food is good. Pizza is made fresh. Nothing special about the ceasar salad or got wings but the ability to come and play board games with family and friends is the real star of the show!

Great place to hang out and eat! They leave you alone once you have your food, which allows you to enjoy your company and time with friends while playing a board game or putting a puzzle together. There’s also some pretty cool retail stuff to geek out on. It’s a great slice of pizza as well!
