B&D Burgers on East Broughton is fantastic! I ordered the Whitfield, kept it simple with the burger, bun, bacon, cheese, BBQ sauce, and onion rings—plus an onion ring side. It was absolutely delicious! The flavor was superb, the burger was juicy, and the onion rings were perfectly crispy.
If you’re in Savannah and craving a solid, flavorful burger, this place won’t disappoint!

Really disappointing. Dry, frozen maybe burger, no real taste, for $18? And ‘burger’ is in the name? Good fries, ok service. Small crowd for a holiday noon, too. No idea why they do not work to be really good, but, well, they struggle to be average. No reason to stop in.

Eat here. We stopped in for lunch and weren’t disappointed. The burgers were cooked perfectly, the fry’s were okay, and the corn nuggets were unique. I loved that they offered local hot honey, a great dip for corn nuggets and fry’s alike. We The Colonial and were impressed. Service and music were great too.

Walked in and was not acknowledged for a good 5 minutes. Food was expensive, overpriced and very underwhelming. Portions are VERY small here. 15 dollar for 4 small chicken tenders and 2 small sliders. The bun for the sliders was also very very small. Service was not great. The staff was openly gossiping about a girl named Amanda infront on customers. Decorations were good but the price and food quality is just not worth it especially in a restaurant city like Savannah

Best blue cheese burger EVER
I stopped by this place about a year ago after getting off work one random afternoon. I ordered the blue cheese burger and life hasn’t been the same since. Any time I go into an establishment and order a bleu cheese burger I hope to be met with the same craftsmanship and taste, however I am always left feeling disappointed. I mean the crispy onion ring in there, just genius!! This blue cheese cheese burger has changed my life … and possibly for the worst. I am constantly haunted by the craving of just one more bite of B&D’s blue cheese burger. I wake up in cold sweats swimming in slobber distressed from yearning and dreaming of THE blue cheese burger of my dreams. Anyways… good place to eat fr.

Make sure your vaccinations are up to date! Went in on a Friday afternoon, during the music festival so downtown was bumping. No one to greet and seat us. I should have just left right then and there. Mexican place right next door, Kayak Cafe is always reliable. But we stuck it out because SOMEONE had to have a turkey burger and this place appeared to be sufficiently slow enough that service should go quickly. Now I have over 30 years of service industry experience and there was trouble right away with staffing. Only 2 ladies were running the bar, inside AND outside! Not good. And as I mentioned, Music Festival was ongoing so people were coming in and out for drinks, taking one woman off tables. We waited patiently, ordered loaded fries (out whatever they call their version) some drinks and waited. Drinks arrived but we had to wait a very long time for fries and when they did arrive, they were burnt on all their tips and cheese had been over baked. They left in the salamander way too long (I’m putting pics in here but they don’t convey how burnt everything was very well. You can see the burnt tips clearly though) . Our waitress disappeared for a good 10 min and I think she may have had to help out in the kitchen. Or maybe she went to smoke. Or to meditate and find her balance cuz she was all over the place. I think she was helping out in the kitchen though (she didn’t look calmer). And as short as the front of the house was, I imagine back of the house was too. Because when our burnt fries came out the dishes they brought us were filthy. Not just a little smudge or caked on fleck. Sticky, cloudy, bits of gunk, totally gross plates that NEVER should have made it in front of a customer. There was no clean place to touch the plate. I’ve never seen anything like it. We didn’t touch the fries or plates. No one came to check on us until burgers came up (about 13 min later) . And it was tough getting through the burgers (which were good by the way) imaging what they were sitting on. Sending out filthy plates is a giant red flag y’all. If the staff can’t take the time to wash or double check their plates (or even catch that they were filthy bringing them out. When I told her about the plates, our server looked none too surprised, like she’s heard it before. That means she should have been aware though too) before, how much attention are they paying to the FOOD? I imagine many people have gotten sick from this place. We hurried up and ate the burgers, trying not to think what bacteria slab they were festering on (I just put the burger on the napkin. But was that safe? The table? Anywhere?) I have been here twice before and staffing and service always seem to be an issue. But we live here and give places multiple chances. Now with food and cleanliness being issues, we will not be coming back to this B&D again. To those who made it this far, go to the one on Congress. If you want a burger, go to McDonoughs. (If they serve them, it’s been years since I was there but they were great)

Atmosphere: Serene. Food: immaculate. Service: 6-star Kasey is amazing. The hardest working 11 month pregnant woman I’ve ever seen. Attention, speed, ability to handle all of our issues. I came in with a table of 17. (I’m sorry) she took care of all of us without missing a beat.

We are from Augusta and my husband was craving a burger. We saw great reviews from B&D Burgers and wanted to give it a try. We ordered the Broughton Burger and it was decent. My husband ordered the Bison Telfair burger and they ran out of bison. Mackenzie informed my husband that they were going to get bison for his burger. Their customer service was great and we appreciate Mackenzie’s service.

Spring was the absolute best server ever!!! Literally had the most enjoyable experience because of this absolute queen! She was so attentive, engaging and funny! She truly made this a wonderful dining experience. This might be one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had. 1000/10 would recommend this place and having Spring as your server!
