The food portions are big and delicious. Started with smoothies: peaches and cream and tropical. So yummy! Had the Californian Benny with hash browns. Upgraded to the house hash browns that had green bell peppers, onions, and a cheese sauce. So worth it. Also ordered skillets which were full of flavor and came with pancakes. Upgraded our pancakes to their signature pancakes, which were amazing! Tried the granny apple pancakes and lemon coconut pancakes, both were delicious! Ordered the cinnamon stacked French toast as well, full of fruit and a creamy vanilla sauce. Our server was very attentive and explained our options with patience. I will definitely come back again. The food and service was phenomenal!

Ordered a skirt steak and got a full skirt. I’d recommend getting the steak from the breakfast menu, which had a better value for me.
The Mighty Rooster Benny might as well be the best Benny I’ve ever had. The flavor profile is very subtle and makes you want more.

The soup was delicious as always. Same thing for the biscuits. The server was super helpful as I couldn’t talk and needed to type everything out or point to place my order. I really appreciate the helpfulness and she never showed any frustration. Thank you so much!

The ambiance was modern and clean. The food was good. The coffee was a little weak, but not terrible. I got the cinnamon tower. The cream was very tasty and the fruit was fresh. My daughter got the micky mouse pancakes. They were a little sad looking and only offered canned pineapple for the face, but she still enjoyed it. Our service was ok. A little on the slow side, but nice. Prices seemed a little high to me.

New location in Naperville, while I like the tasty biscuit chain this location felt a little too modern for a breakfast place, as it had a lot more bright black and white themes that were less home-comfort feeling. The music was too loud and spunktious in the background, making it random at some points. Food portions were large, expect leftovers.

One of the worst cold brews I’ve ever had. Couldn’t finish it. It was also like $8???? Which seemed insane for what it was. I got the Mediterranean avocado toast with poached eggs. The eggs came in a bowl on the side, which was odd. The toast had wayyyyy too much on top which made it soggy. The presentation was lazy and just mushy in general. BUT the waitress was very nice and fast and the food came quickly. But man they got to work on their toast.

We were driving by this place and decided to give it a try — and boy, did we luck out! Even though it was a busy Saturday morning, we were seated right away. I ordered the Mexican breakfast, and my husband got the skillet.
I love a good Mexican breakfast, but this was easily one of the best dishes I’ve ever had. The refried beans were a delicious touch, and I loved that it came with crispy hash browns. They’re apparently known for their biscuits — something I don’t usually eat — but the portions were huge, so we took some food home, including the biscuit. And let me just say, the name says it all. It was definitely a tasty biscuit!
Even though it’s a bit out of the way for us, this spot is absolutely on our list to return to. The service was great overall — our waitress was attentive and friendly — although there was a bit of an odd moment at the end. I signed the check and left the receipt on the table, but as we walked out, our server followed me outside to ask if I had taken it with me. I started searching through my purse just in case, and even when the busser brought her the receipt from our table, she still wanted to compare it with what I might have had. It was a little strange, but honestly, the food was so good I didn’t take any stars off for that. Totally worth it!

Food was overpriced and bland. The waitress and staff were friendly and quick, but I just can’t get over how overpriced and overhyped this place is. The coffee buckets are a cute idea, but I had the worst stomach ache after our breakfast here. Also where they say us, the air conditioning was blowing directly at me, I was freezing the entire time. We won’t be back. Save your money and go to morningside cafe also on Ogden.
