The carnitas was way better than the asada. The salsas were just ok. Unusual to have cabbage and onion as toppings and no cilantro? They are good tacos but it’s overrated imo and it’s not actually cheaper than other taco places that taste better to make it worthwhile as a go to food truck.
My wife loved the chocoflan tho and would come back for that.

Good portion sizes and presentation. However, the tacos lack flavor. The meat needs more seasoning and less grease. Tortillas are also too bland, try toasting them up just a bit. Sauces are probably the worst part. The red sauce just tastes like straight tomato juice. It needs more spices. Same goes for the guacamole. Needs more flavor and freshness.
Ive tried many tacos before, and I was just not impressed by this place.

I don’t know how anyone can dine-in with soooo many flies everywhere. They are all over the chair and tables. I see all these reviews saying that this place is the best when the meat has no flavor. The carne asada tacos are sooo bland and it cut so finely that it looks like ground beef. Al pastor is mid at best and carnitas is okay i guess. Honestly the agua de jamica is only thing that I enjoyed.

I’m so glad Waffle House was closed! We shared California burrito and it was insanely good – hot, fresh, large portion! Soooo good! We may go again tomorrow!!!

After our evening activities we decided to stop find a place for a late night dinner. And then it was after midnight there were that many choices but we ran across a food truck called La Frontera 1. They had exactly what we wanted, and they accepted cash or credit cards. It was almost like faith.
The El Pastor tacos and California burrito for incredibly delicious! And washing it down with a real Mexican Coca-Cola topped off the night! Don’t expect a nice dining area. This is an outdoor style seating, but the food definitely makes up for it!

Is there a better place to get good foodcart food than a sketchy neighborhood? I don’t think so.

After an electrifying concert, I indulged in a late-night dinner at a charming food truck. The casual outdoor seating was not only comfortable but also set a relaxed, welcoming tone for the evening. Every dish we tried was served fresh and hot, bursting with flavor. The al pastor torta was deeply satisfying, and the Birria tacos were perfectly seasoned, accompanied by a consomé that was rich and delicious.
