Opening day of seafood Sam’s in Falmouth 52nd year. The restaurant is pristine and ready to go for another incredible summer serving the best seafood on Cape Cod Today I had a lobster roll where the lobster meat was overflowing the roll. It was fresh. It was crisp. The bun was toasted perfectly. We also had whole belly clams the portions, massive the food, hot fresh and crisp. If you’re looking for good seafood on Cape Cod, this is the place.

What a wonderful surprise it was to find this cute restaurant off of the bike path. It was perfectly marked. This stop was the halfway point for my 2 hour bike ride along the Falmouth Bike Trail in the late afternoon. Staff were happy, quick and kind, food delish and wine was cold and refreshing. Thank you Sam’s!

This was our first stop once we got on the Cape, as was requested by one of our travelers who has been visiting the area since the 60s. His go-to was the lobster roll, which looked great. The rest of us tried a variety of the other seafood options, and it was all good. This is an order at the counter and then find your own table (inside or out) place. They have fountain drinks and a few beer options. The staff was helpful for first-timers putting an order together and the food came out quick. We were there right at noon on a Saturday (mid June) and while it was busy, it wasn’t packed. It’s also much bigger seating wise than it looks, so even if the lot is full, I’d take a chance and stop. There is an overflow parking lot as well.

Really great and reasonably priced fish and chips, right off the bike trail or by car. I’d just recommend you dine in, not take out, as it tastes much worse after being in a to-go box for 20-30 minutes.

This was my first time eating at Seafood Sam’s. After viewing the menu, I ordered the lobster dinner platter with a cole slaw and a baked potato for 27.95 plus an additional $2 charge for using their lobster cracker. I received my $2 back once I returned the item. Also, I bought a drink afterward for $2. They gave me a device to alert me when the food was ready, which took approximately 15 to 20 minutes. There were plenty of seats to dine in. When I received my food, I also got a bib. The lobster tastes fresh along with the potatoes. When I finished eating, I decided to order some food to go. I noticed on the menu by the entry that there was a 2 piece southern fried chicken dinner for 12.99. I went up to the register to order it but noticed a special sign that displays on Sunday a special for 3 piece fried chicken dinner for 12.99. I mentioned it, but I forgot that it was Sunday. I would think the cashier would mention that today is Sunday, so I can upgrade your meal. I don’t expect much because I guess good help is hard to find. For my sides, I got the mac & cheese with the cole slaw and butter milk biscuit. The chicken and biscuit were good. The Cole Slaw was not the worst, but the mac & cheese is the worst. The mac & cheese tasted like noodles, but hold the cheese.

I have eaten here 3 times. Their $21 lobster roll is served warm or cold. It’s full of lobster and delicious. I have also had their fish sandwich, sweet potatoes fries and peanut butter cookies. The sweet potato fries are some of the best that I’ve had and worth the upcharge. The service was also very fast.

We are traveling the East Coast from Ohio and after spending the day in Martha’s Vineyard, we decided to stop in and try Seafood Sam’s.
We are so glad we stopped because the food was hot and delicious!
I had the Butterfly Shrimp platter and my husband had the Fried Clam platter with a side bowl of Lobster Bisque and it was smooth & creamy and had the best flavor of any Lobster Bisque I have ever eaten.
5 Star meal from both of us ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We came by to order a takeout after watching sunset. The prices have gone up a lot compare to some of the older photos.
We ordered the fried seafood plater. Do pay attention when they try to up sale you when they ask if you want clam strips, or whole clams/oysters, the whole ones cost extra $6.
Seafood qualities were good, and batter was heavy. Fried to golden crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.

It was my first time in New England, and I was looking for a great place for seafood and saw all of the good reviews for Seafood Sam’s. Believe all of them because the food was absolutely delicious. I had chowder, and it was one of the best I’ve ever had. And I have had Pike Place chowder in Seattle. Better than that. Trust me. Please do yourself a favor if you are craving seafood and check this restaurant out.

Restaurants should know that eating out is very expensive today. Therefore customers who make the decision to eat at your restaurant expect good quality tasty food for what they charge. We ordered the fish and chips which was bland and soggy not crispy. The portion of fish was small over regular french fries. Definitely not what was expected for Cape Cod where fish is plentiful.
