I enjoyed eating at this restaurant recently. It’s been a minute, since I’ve ate catfish. I ordered catfish fillets, white beans and fries. I enjoyed the food. I would definitely like to come back and eat here again. Thank you to the staff, have a wonderful day.

We stumbled across Catfish Gallery while traveling through town. The building looks like it’s been around awhile and the locals seemed right at home there. Most of the guest knew each other. The service on our visit was very fast and accommodating although the one lady seemed to be the only one serving customers. She didn’t have time for chitchat but was friendly. Food was prepared and served in a timely manner and was fairly average in quality. It was the lack of seasoning that made it average to be honest. Even the blackened fish was a bit bland. Normally love white beans but not these. I liked how they serve you basket of hush puppies and they were good. We charged an average price for average food and were happy with that. Free ice cream for dessert was a great bonus.

I was pleasantly surprised when I ate here. I ordered Catfish and fries and it was delicious. The dinner also came with hush puppies and spaghetti. The hush puppies were delish. I gave the spaghetti to a co-worker since I don’t eat beef, so I can’t rate it. I definitely recommend this place

Stopped by for lunch homecoming weekend. Haven’t eaten here since the 80’s. Brought back so many memories as this was one of my grandparents favorite spots to bring the grandkids. The food was fantastic. Everything is cooked hot and fresh and the portions are huge. I can see why this place is this in business.

The atmosphere was great but I was underwhelmed by the food. The salad was iceberg and small for the price. The food took forever to get out and was only ok. I had crab cakes and chicken wings. Perhaps the other reviews were based on the steam bags. I would go back and try those.

We visited Catfish Galley on the spur of the moment and we are so glad we did! We got the most amazing waitress, named Pam, who had a heart of gold and a passion to serve with a friendly smile and a kind word. She brought us out the best hushpuppies we’ve EVER eaten and they were hot and fresh too! Then our meal came out. The Catfish, shrimp, scallops and crab was all amazing. We will definitely be making the 45 minute drive back to Jackson to enjoy another meal at Catfish Galley, but we’ll make sure Pam is working that night.

I sometimes forget about catfish galley but I always enjoy the food when I visit. It’s not great but not bad either lol. I’d say avg catfish. They have good prices and it’s the Only place around I know that has frog legs.

Since they were out of 12 oz Steaks and only had 16 oz or Hambuger Steak. I went with the hamburger steak and catfish. I am so glad I did because it comes with a plateful. Hamburger Steak came out nicely cooked, the two pieces of Catfish were thin and a bit flakey, hardly fufilled the taste I was looking for today. Steak Fries were served cold but the white beans here are some of the best in this part of town. The dining area was teeming with easily satisfied patrons. Overall it was a good meal but nothing I will eat again soon. Could’ve cooked it better myself for cheaper. The last time I had take out from here was substantially better.
