Good food & good quite atmosphere when we went. Friday evening. Margarita was good but little less ice. Had good portion of alcohol & condiments. We get drinks can be watered down or icey but few less cubes would be nice. Las Enchiladas plate was good, had flavor & filling. Barria tacos were delicious with generous portion & flavor.

They are terrific one of the few places that season their food. We have gone at least once a week for a few months now always consistent great lunch specials and happy hour deals I’m not huge on their green chili but their tacos chips and salsa enchiladas and margaritas are definitely recommend

I’m from Houston and I have a hard time finding Mexican food that I like in the Denver metro area. This restaurant is very good! Everything is always cooked hot and fresh, the ingredients are delicious and top quality, the atmosphere of the restaurant is lively and fun, and my entire family loves it. I love giant margaritas and bar area too. We all approve of El Tequileno!

I’m not gonna lie, it’s a good place to eat. Their food and service is great.
However…
I don’t understand why the pictures don’t ever match the plate you get lol. For example the steak fajitas shows a good amount of meat. You don’t get that much in reality. The pollo verde looks like meat that’s been cooked the right way that pollo verde is supposed to look. When the plate comes, it’s the green salsa with some chicken pieces thrown in.
Again the food is great, but if you’re gonna have pictures showing your presentation, or showing the authenticity, it should be cooked that way. Maybe the menu is old and the economy has made things off.

So much food, so much good food too.
The portions are so much and fulfilling that two can share one meal.
They have bottomless chips and salsa and pico dip which both are really good.
The carne asada tacos were so good, so much steak too. The dish does come with beans.
Would definitely go back again, would try something new but the tacos were really good.

The manager and staff are completely ignorant when it comes to running an establishment. I found a ton of rat droppings on the floor near the restrooms, absolutely disgusting and completely unsanitary. The health department should be made aware of this because it’s a serious hazard. ⚠️
My girlfriend also saw an employee not even washing her hands after using the restroom.
Beware. This was our first time and immediately regretted it.You’re better off going to Taco Bell next door.
On top of that, the staff was extremely disrespectful, not attentive whatsoever, and acted like they couldn’t care less about the customers or sanitation. Terrible experience from start to finish.

I do not usually leave reviews but i have to say, this place is RACIST. Came here to celebrate anniversary with my wife who is white yes — she is Gringa. She asked to have her margarita remade because it tasted only like syrup, I tried it also it was no good.
The waitress rolled her eyes and in Spanish said “this stupid white girl” in Spanish under her breath and proceeded to walk off. The entire energy shifted and I can tell others were in the back talking poorly.
My wife did not know what you said, but I do. And let me tell you, if you are white and come here- TRUST me they all are talking horrible about you and laugh and god only knows if you return something what they do. To them this is complaining and especially from a white person—they hate that. Very unfortunate and uncomfortable situation.
If you are Caucasian trust me- coming from a Latino myself from Mexico DO NOT go to this restaurant. LOS DOS Portillos is 100% times better, and they actually respect their customers (most being Caucasian)

Best Mexican restaurant around, hands down! This was our second time here. I recommend sitting in the bar, I forgot they had one, and in my opinion, it’s better than sitting on the restaurant side! The service was fantastic!
As far as drinks go, I highly recommend the Cantarito! So delicious! But their margaritas are great too! Food wise, they have so many great things! For this visit, he ordered the Pork Carnitas Enchiladas and I had the Fajitas Acapulco. Both were very delicious! Although next time, I think I’ll just get the normal fajitas and skip the cheese dip on top! The chips and salsa/pico are great too, they definitely help before the real food arrives! Overall, great visit, we absolutely love this place and I’m happy to recommend this to anyone who wants great Mexican food!

This is our family’s favorite Mexican restaurant in the metro. Big plates, delicious (and numerous options for) margaritas, and always fast service. Professional staff with a feeling of authenticity and fun. Some great vegetarian options too!
