Fantastic BBQ. Brisket was so tender, the Pulled Pork was melt in your mouth and the ribs were to die for. The corn bread is the cherry on top! If you love BBQ, you have to try this place. Definitely some of the best BBQ in NH.

This is the place for real authentic smoked BBQ. As the sign says: slow cooked, smoked at 180 degrees. If the BBQ place you goto doesn’t have visible smoking wood, leave and come here.
Had a pound of Brisket. Fantastic. Good bark and visible smoke ring on the meat. Super tender and very very good.
Multiple BBQ sauce to choose from had to pick just one.
Cole Slaw: excellent. This one is not mayo based but more of a vinegar based. Fantastic.
Mac Cheese: good. Creamy and thick. Would’ve preferred more of cheddar flavor but very good.
Garlic mashed potatoes: Excellent. Not strong garlic flavor but pronounced garlic flavor. Could’ve used some butter but good just the same.

This is our must stop place for Smoked BBQ whenever we’re in the area. It’s done right and tastes fantastic. Lost a star due to proximity to the roadway…made it tough to hear your party if dining outside.

Swung by for lunch and grabbed the 3-meat combo with jambalaya and cucumber salad (because balance, right?). All the meats had that nice smoky vibe going on, but I was hoping for a bit more kick in the seasoning department. Not sure if they used a rub—I couldn’t really taste one. Portion size? Generous. Definitely enough to share (or not, no judgment). Solid BBQ overall—not my top pick, but tasty enough that I’d come back for round two.

This place was packed at 4pm on a rainy Saturday. Definitely a great sign of a strong following! Goody has outdoor tables but on a rainy day that was not a good option, so there was a wait for empty tables in a small dining room which has five tables, one of them long for a large family. You get a choice of 2 or 3 meats and 2 sides in a combo. I thought ribs were better than brisket. The food was decent, although I can’t say it was the best BBQ ever. I kind of expected more based on a fantom gourmet review.

I’ve been here a few times over the past couple weeks to try most of the items and I’ve been happy with it all. There are a few places in NH which do BBQ right, but mostly have only one really strong item in the trio of Ribs, Brisket, or Pulled Pork. Cole’s, in my opinion, does all of its items very well, and doesn’t make you feel like you wasted a pick in a platter.

If you drop by it may not be super packed, but don’t be fooled, you’ll soon see tons of locals in and out to pick up their orders, a testament to how popular the place is. But if you do sit down, you can expect to get your food pretty quickly with it handled by very kind and courteous staff. The decoration is classic and well loved, with plenty of seats inside and out.

And very importantly; with all the “BBQ” joints popping up, chains, locals trying to get in on the fad, or whoever, I always expect to pay a lot of money and get shorted on the portions. 75% of places in NH do this.

Cole’s does not. I got a pretty hefty portion no matter which combo I ordered, 1, 2, or 3 meat, and left satisfied in wallet and stomach.

If there’s one negative, the parking lot has a lot of potholes, so be wary if you aren’t driving a truck or SUV.

Goody Cole’s Smokehouse is definitely one of my favorite BBQ joints in New Hampshire.

The food was so delicious!! The brisket was juicy, pulled pork was moist, not dry. The cucumber sald was tasty, but my kids didn’t really care for it. The mac and cheese was ok. It probably would have been better with pulled pork and bbq sauce in it. I tried 3 of their homemade BBQ sauces, and I liked them all and finally the Chili. It was so good!! It has nice pieces of brisket in it. It’s definitely one of the best chili’s I’ve had.

I was very disappointed here. Was looking forward to some good BBQ but this was not the place. Ordered the brisket sandwich w/ mac and cheese. Meat was flavorless and greasy, soon as you take a bit the bun turns to mush. Mac and cheese was nothing to talk about. Wife had pulled pork sandwich w/ beans. About the same lack of flavor. No smoke flavor nothing. Beans were beans. They don’t post prices. I think way over priced. The highlight of these meals was the pickles they were good. Sadly

We had lunch there today with 2 friends. My wife and I split a 3 meat platter. I also ordered 2 extra sides to try them.

Fabulous!!!!! Cole slaw, Mac and cheese, macaroni salad an jambalaya were all excellent. And you can tell it’s all homemade.
Kielbasa, brisket and ribs were great as well. So much better than the Texas barbecue we had in Houston.
We will be going back.

Good job goody Cole’s

Man, oh, man! If you like bar-b-que, this is worth stopping by to try. I had brisket, pulled pork, and ribs, with cucumber salad, BBQ beans, and cornbread on the side. My order will feed me for 3 or 4 meals, there was so much food. Plus, I think I counted 7 different sauces you can add to your plate at the table.
The building is unassuming and looks like a roadside stand on NH 125, just outside of Brentwood, so pay attention, or you might miss it. It’s been around over 20 years, and I know why!

Had the ribs, brisket, jambalaya and cucumber salad. The ribs were very good, the brisket was dry and bland. I also liked the jambalaya, that was the most flavorful dish
