First time eating here with my wife and we were thoroughly impressed. We shared the ahi tuna napoleon appetizer and were both very impressed by a variety of delicious and fresh flavors that came together nicely. I got the pesto sea bass. The sea bass was good, but the entire plate was delicious making it my wife and I’s favorite part of the visit. We devoured the plate. She got the coconut ginger pappardelle which was a lighter dish that would probably be good if you just like pasta, but we weren’t looking to count calories or anything. Dessert selection had many good options we will be back to try again next time!

Tucked in a corner of Eagle, ID is a quaint restaurant that shines. The food selection is wide but concise. Theee is something for everyone and we tried the ribeye steak, short rib pasta, parpadelle shrimp, grilled salmon, french onion burger, scallops and had the buttered noodles with chicken for kids.
The food is so good, I was only able to take one picture – the Burger. So juicy topped with melted cheese and fried onions. The scallops were large and tender, on top of polenta flat cakes with a zesty avocado dressing. The best scallop dish I have had in my life!
If you want non pretentious top class dishes, come to Coyne’s!

My family found Coynes a couple years ago and we’ve been going consistently ever since. It’s the sister restaurant to Bardenay, and I’d argue Coynes is a more elevated version in a great way.
Service has always been very good. The bar turns out unique, well-crafted drinks, and the wine list is solid. The space is comfortable inside, and the patio is a big plus — fully covered, enclosed, and heated in winter so you can use it year-round.
The food is where Coynes really shines. The kitchen is consistent, and the menu shifts just enough over time to keep things fresh with new and interesting options.
Overall, this is a go-to spot in Eagle for a great meal, excellent drinks, and a comfortable atmosphere. Highly recommend.

This place can accommodate for celiac’s disease, which is always a win! They offer gf buns and have a separate area where they prepare gf items.
Personally, my food was not good. I got the brisket sandwich and the meat was very chewy, like they microwaved it. I’ve never had good luck with brisket unless it’s straight off the smoker, so I can understand that.
However I tried the veggies on someone else’s plate and they didn’t taste good at all, neither did the mashed potatoes.
I don’t like criticizing, but my expectations were high considering the atmosphere and especially the price.
A few months ago, I had the sea bass and gnocchi dinner with the chocolate espresso torte that was extravagant. Very much worth the price. If you go here, expect to spend more money on the pricier items to get a better experience and taste.

We stopped by to get a couple of appetizers and a beer. We sat at the bar; Leo is a great bartender that makes you feel welcome. The food is alright, tried a couple of appetizers but I must say I was not impressed. The place is nice and well decorated.

We had a ladies birthday get together at Coyne’s, we made reservations, which is a must, we all sat on the patio, great experience, our service was topnotch! Always had a full drink, Amber, our server continued checking on us, she made excellent suggestions on meals as well as drinks. The salmon was so good, cooked perfectly, seasoned beautifully, fish tacos were amazing, excellent sauce on them, just enough of a kick to require another adult beverage, we had four in our party, we each tried a different drink. They were very favorable! The only down were the flies, but you are in Idaho & it is August, I guess if you don’t want to deal with them, sit inside, but the patio is lovely. It was a little pricey but worth it when you included the service….Amber did an amazing job, The food is very fresh, presented in a beautiful manner as well. The desserts, especially the Churro is out of this world!! Another great suggestion by Amber! Thank you for making our celebration that much better!!

Coyne’s is a really nice spot with fair prices and solid food. The Nashville chicken sandwich was one of the best I have had in a long time, great heat and flavor without being overdone. The space feels comfortable, the service is steady, and the overall experience lands well if you want good food without blowing your budget. A place worth coming back to.

Our server forgot about us for a few and said he’d bring a receipt and never did even after waiting over 10 min.
John’s food suggestions were spot on. The fish tacos and salad was amazing. The cocktails were spot on. Perfect balance of alcohol and flavors. Seating was great on the patio with great decor. We didn’t have to wait and they honored our reservation on time.
The Key Lime Pie is out of this world. Best ever at a restaurant.
It was me and my boyfriend’s first time and we came based off the recommendations of people we’ve met here and for a first time, we were truly impressed. We will be back and recommend Coyne’s to anyone who asks. Thanks for a job well done.
