I’ve been meaning to come here for too long but we finally made it and it was so good. The atmosphere was great and the service was awesome. I started with a delicious bloody Mary which had a great kick to it.

For food I ordered the breakfast tacos and my husband ordered the brisket omelet. The tacos were a great, filled with sausage and cheese. Was just the right amount and easy to take leftovers home. I picked a siden of grits which were also great. The brisket omelet was also delicious and super filled with wonderfully cooked brisket. A lot of food but so good.

This place is great, don’t miss it.

The brisket omelette was great, loaded with brisket in it! My wife loved the Biscuit and gravy, so much flavor in the gravy, not your typical white gravy out of the can. Coffee was a bit expensive at $4.50 but overall a solid meal. Parking can be tight. Will return tho

Really good greasy spoon breakfast with a Southern flair. They give you a 7 ounce “beer buddy” with your Bloody Mary, which is cool. Chicken fried steak was delicious. If you are going on a game day, as we did I recommend getting there early. Great service!

We came here on a very busy Veterans Day. We ordered chicken fried steak, and shrimp and grits. Both very delicious and Leann makes the best Bloody Mary. For how busy it was, yes we waited a bit long time but the food was worth the wait and the service was excellent for a non stop rush they went through. You can definitely tell the kitchen line was hauling butt because things were smoothly running.

We decided to try Hudson for breakfast, and it was such a win! Right when we walked in, we loved the vibe—it’s cozy, welcoming, and just has that perfect morning energy. The staff were friendly, efficient, and genuinely made the experience enjoyable. And the food and drinks? Absolutely amazing! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and served just right. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to sit back, relax, and enjoy your morning without rushing. Really felt like a full experience, not just a quick bite. Already planning a return visit to try some other items because everything was that good. If you’re looking for a breakfast spot that nails the atmosphere, service, and food, Hudson is definitely the place to go. Totally recommend it!

Am I just getting older and more critical, or is the restaurant industry in decline? Maybe it’s both.
I stopped by Hudson for a boozy breakfast. The space looked promising. Stylish horseshoe bar, a cozy number of tables, clean and casual with a touch of class. The menu was solid, the prices typical for Seattle.
Service, however, was uneven. The gentleman on the floor was warm and attentive, checking in and bidding farewell to guests. His counterpart was the opposite. No greeting, no engagement with patrons, and a loud rant about how expensive Vegas has become.
I know most people in the Seattle area wouldn’t notice or care, perhaps I’m a relic of a time that’s past and gone.

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you, The Hudson. Tucked away on the corner of West Marginal and Hudson Street, this little gem should definitely be on your monthly restaurant list.

Great food, drinks, beer, and service. I’ve tried most of the menu. The food is well thought out and executed. A few of my go to dishes: The Country fried steak is the best in Seattle. I’m a southerner. Country fried steak is a big deal where I’m from. This one is the best I’ve ever had.

The brisket omelette is fantastic. Bring your appetite though. Hearty! The shrimp po’boy and western club are big time crowd pleasers. Whether you’re craving breakfast or lunch, they’ve got you covered.

The staff are lighthearted and friendly. They’re always happy to walk you through the menu. They’re funny, yet focused on providing you with excellent service.

Talk to Mel about the line of hot sauces she makes. They’re amazing.

Like I said, I come here all the time. I’ve yet to be disappointed. Enjoy y’all. Tell them Ashley sent you.
