After all the hype, it was incredibly disappointing. Did takeout. Moo ping, Pad Thai with chicken, and Tum Sua Papaya Salad. Parking lot was busy at 9pm on a Friday, but was able to find a spot. Pickup was ready only a few minutes after expected time. All good there.

The moo ping was great. A bit fatty and rich, but a large portion and oh so delicious. Got a side of rice to eat it with. The only thing I’d recommend.

Pad Thai was spectacularly flavorless and had maybe a quarter of a chicken breast worth of meat. It felt like it wasnt made right, missing an ingredient or two. Just really… Meh. Like something you’d expect from a Panda Express.

The papaya salad was horrid to me. After picking out some spoiled looking lime wedges and crab body parts I tried working my way through it. I ordered mild spice level. Definitely gave me the default medium. Not crazy hot, but it wasn’t mild. I didn’t find any crab meat in the salad itself and from the tiny withered looking crab carcass I fished out I didn’t expect more than a pinky finger tip worth anyways. I ended up throwing away most of it (everything in the picture). It was a puddle of wet nasty noodles and barely cut papaya and the fermented fish paste smelled too rancid. Something in my brain was flashing the warning sign saying this wasn’t ok to eat and I listened. And I’m someone well know to eat anything and everything.

$80 for three dishes, online ordering fee, tip, and tax. Was just hoping for so much more. Feel free to try it because I’m sure it’s hyped for a reason but don’t be surprised if it’s a bit disappointing.

I love dives. This one was absolutely exceptional.

The crab fried rice was divine. The drunken shrimp noodles were sweet and flavorful.

The chicken larb was the only slightly disappointing dish because it was only good, not exceptional.

I wish I lived here because I still need to try a curry and basically every dish.

Everything was sooo good, it’s 100% my taste. The 3 meat noodle was delicious, the meat was both crunchy and juicy, cooked to perfection. The shrimp noodle was also amazing. The only thing I’d wish to change is the veggie to be more cooked through, they’re a bit too hard for me. But overall, highly recommended! Also the people there are way too nice lol

Bold flavors, big portions, and everything came out sizzling hot. The grilled pork and curry dishes were especially delicious — rich, spicy, a little smoky. The place gets busy, but the staff stay friendly and fast. Feels like a hidden gem in LA if you love Thai food.

Luv2eat ruined other Thai places for me. The crab fried rice is on Caleb Hearon’s last meal spread. So I ordered it. It was superb, and they served us a big huge mountain of it. Also, the pork skewers were super good and huge.

One of the best Thai food in LA and anywhere in the US that we have tried. Fairly priced menu and fast service given how busy the place is. The service staffs are friendly and helpful. We will come back to eat again whenever we are in LA and in mood for Thai food.

Michelin Guide 5 years in a row, and likely to get it for 6 in 2025 too. With this high standard, I was ready to expect delicious and bold Thai flavor.

Just here for lunch, my friend and I shared a classic Papaya Salad and Jade Noodle bowl. Both were delicious, the papaya salad is everything you want from a papaya salad: a little wet, crunchy, spicy, savory. Really good, but, nothing that I haven’t tried before.

Coming from NYC, Jade Noodles haven’t made it out east, so this was new to me. 3 types of meat: Crispy Pork Belly, a familiar red BBQ Pork, and Roast Duck. All three meats were cooked well, and the jade noodles were just so good. Springy and fresh, with good consistency.

All in all, really good Thai food in this famous part of town. The lady in charge went to Le Cordon Bleu, so there’s some here.

Best Thai food hands down! The chefs specialty dishes are great but the green curry was my favorite. There is a check in podium outside but you have to write your own name on the list. We waited for a few minutes with no host in sight until we realized it’s self-monitored system.

I got the pineapple curry mild. It was very delicious. I was able to taste all the flavors. It took about 15 mins for my dish to come out. However my brother ordered the skewers & it took 34 mins to come out. Overall I would eat here again.
