So, we were seated at our preferred table on the patio which was great. I was excited even though I am not usually a fan of Mexican cuisine. My partner loves Mexican food, so I was happy for him. Little did we know the food was never going to arrive. In fact, we never got to place the order. After initial drinks, which we did receive, and a complementary chips & salsa, our waitress was no where to be found. People that came after us placed their orders AND received their food at which point we decided to leave. We cashed out for our drinks with another waitress and we left the place disappointed. We eventually ended up eating at the restaurant just below this Mexican one, so it worked out for me, because, again, couldn’t care less about Mexican food.

We had an odd waiter, sort of like a stepford wife. Asked for a drink menu and never got one, we took it from the next table over. The drinks and food were good. Not much on the margarita rim. They have a different red sauce. The prices were good.

We had a great view of the bay from our seat. We came in for lunch and had the lunch chimichanga and deluxe burrito, both were good, the chip and salsa was so so. They were very busy with the art festival.

Food was much better than the other Mexican place in town – La Catrina. Vibe/atmosphere was better too. Service was quick and I only ate four tortilla chips before they had our food to our table on Father’s Day! The quick service was quite surprising! Food and drinks were all tasty. It’s not like the authentic Mexican you can get close to the border, but for the UP, it hits the spot (especially when I don’t wanna be the one cooking Mexican and I cook quite a few Mexican dishes at home!)

Ordered appetizer and it never came out. The meal came out was horrible. The waiter was slow and did not give us silverware. My wife had to go up and ask someone else for the silverware after another 5 minutes after the food was served . He was very inattentive to us. I most likely will not be returning to this establishment after 2 experiences that was horrible.

We enjoyed our view. The Sangria was delicious. Their Chicken burrito and enchilada were very good. We are used to hot plates, which keeps the food hot, where we normally go but it was still good food. Nice staff.

I definitely recommend sitting on the balcony because the view is outstanding! I got the enchilada dinner with an extra side of rice and my boyfriend got the taco dinner with a cheese quesadilla. The food was very flavorful and filling, though I wish you got a little more for the price. The staff are knowledgeable of the food and drinks served and are very kind, though the service was a little slow. Their menu is very extensive, so you’re bound to find something you’ll like. Though I didn’t order one, I saw a few and their margaritas are HUGE!
