This place doesn’t fit into”the box” of eateries. It’s a sit down restaurant but has a diner feel. It’s super community oriented and supports every little league through college team in the region. Very cool!! The food is varied and we got recommendations from our server (who was AwEsOmE!) and thoroughly loved it! Dessert was some amazing ice cream (also recommended by our server) and left happy, full adventurers.

Stopped to charge our car & I wanted to try this place instead of going to McDonalds. Sat down, girl got our drinks & nobody came back after that. We sat for about 20 minutes & nothing, nobody came to ask if we’d been helped. Just looked at us. I saw about 4 waitresses & wasn’t full of people. People were coming in & getting their orders taken. Just paid for the drinks we didn’t even drink & walked out.

The food was amazing and so reasonable we had breakfast twice there. The smothered hash browns were excellent and I loved the blueberry pancakes. The staff is friendly and attentive and the restaurant is bright and welcoming with fun signs all over the walls.

The decorations were awesome! The service was horrible. Our waitresses came to our table 3x. First to take our order 2nd to bring our food and if I had not had my hand raised like to ask a question she would have never came back the 3rd time with the wrong refill. We got the chicken fried steak plate our steak was beyond burnt I wanted to send it it back but the husband said no. We also got the combination Mexican plate only thing that was good was the beans. You can definitely tell nothing is homemade everything comes from a bag pre-made which there is nothing wrong with that i was just hoping for homemade. The place was very busy and full of people. Women’s bathrooms were clean and fully stocked i definitely liked that. We also bought cookies they look homemade so hopefully they are good. Overall terrible time but it was an experience. Hope you have a better time.

Each time I go eat at this restaurant, the employees are very nice and friendly, you will always be greeted and served warm with a smile, from the employees. The food is delicious, my favorite dish is the Philly Cheastake Sandwich comes on a hoagy roll packed with meat, cheese and bell pepper and served with delicious French fries or your choice of a side. They will add Hatch Green Chile if requested for a little more than one dollar extra, but it is worth it. The price is excellent. Three of us Myself, and two friends ate dinner here last month and the total bill came out to about $45.00 very low prices, you don’t see in other places. And it’s located right by Walmart, off the 25 fwy in the city of Truth or Consequences, NM. I would sincerely recommend this restaurant, its Awesome! if you are traveling by, visiting our city or the area, or hungry, stop by and have yourself some delicious food.

I’ve only eaten there a few times in past year and the food keeps getting worse. Last meal I ordered was beef enchilada plate they used flour tortillas instead of corn and what I got was a plate of glue,a soggy mess. There is nothing about this place that is home cooking. One meal chicken fried steak was from a frozen bag in microwave, one from Walmart would be better. Mashed potatoes instant no taste, gravy was awful. I won’t be going back. So be careful what you order they can’t mess an egg up,maybe.

Just passing through. Stopped to fill up and saw this Johnny Bs.
They allowed our service animals in and we were seated rapidly. The wait staff worked quickly to serve us our drinks and with in a few minutes the waitress took our order. The food was great. Look forward to stopping again when passing through. Thank you Johnny B’s

This is one of THE best New Mexican foods I have ever tried! Food was amazing, excellent customer service. Jordan G., our waitress was fabulous.I had the tamale plate Christmas, and it was delicious. I extremely LOVED the red chile. 100% recommended, whenever we travel, this will be definitely one of our stops.
